Looking at player for player Short-term ... Mayo is more of an impact player and can win or lose you a game. Love is more of a role player expected to "become" an impact player. Give it 3 years. If Love can stay healthy, I believe the Wolves come out on top.

I don't mind an occasional off-color joke, but I have children that I'm incapable of controlling when it comes to what they look at on the internet. And it just happens that this is the only site they want to visit.

So I'd appreciate it if you'd conform your conversation to my personal wishes and tone down the racy innuendo so I don't have to actually be a parent. This way, I can spend more time fantasizing about certain front office personnel.

And mods, could you please suspend this poster for a while since that is what we are doing these days?

Hmm, I'm pretty sure I'm the one that openly defended your comment directed at Shrink, so now I am pretty sure you are just biggest jerk on the planet and deserve to be suspended.

IF Love can take his baggage weight turn it into a few pounds of muscle I would like the T-Wolves longterm on this trade.

Seeing that Memphis got rid of Miles because he was a bad influence on Mayo tells me that OJ isnt surrounding himself with quality people.

This is a toss up still

I honestly think the trade was good for both teams, but it was a trade that didn't need to be made.

Mayo would have solved our SG hole (to be fair, everyone thought Foye or McCants could be that guy)

Love would have been their PF of the future and ran with a crazy frontcourt.

You were only stating a fact about an STD! Unless Watters somehow stumbled on a cure since he was banned and had spare time.

I'd do it

Min
In: Songaila, Thomas, Pecherov, Cardinal, Collins, Love, Rubio
Out: Walker, Buckner, Jaric, Mayo, Foye

Washington
In: Miller Foye
Out: Rubio, Songaila, Thomas, Pecherov

Memphis
In: Walker, Buckner, Jaric, Mayo
Out: Cardinal, Collins, Miller, Love

At first I thought this was a new thread and was going to rip ya' a new one... but alas its not and I will comment.

If you look at it post rubio trade, it looks like it could be a homerun for the wolves. Two things are still up in the air however.

1st, will Big Al and Love Coexist in the long-term as a C/PF tandem, if not, it depends on what we end up getting when we trade one of them. If they can play together, then it depends on if we are winning or not. Right now, it is still trading a talented big for a ball dominate SG (which are a dime a dozen...until he proves otherwise).

2nd, If Rubio comes over and becomes one of the top PG's in the league.
