Pacers Incoming: $11,430,000
Heat Incoming: $11,641,820

Pacers accept, we have a glut in wings, so losing Wright and Bowen don't hurt as much it would initially seem. We pick up a more serviceable PF with one year shorter on his contract, AVAILABLE for trade, or a great veteran to bring off the bench. Jones isn't the greatest of contracts, but he provides solid shooting. We'll miss Dorsey, but with the recent addition of Armstrong, we feel he's more expendable. We give up a lot of talent, and add salary, but shed a little for 2010 off-season and bolster our bench our bench in terms of overall production. Not too mention I was ridiculously bored late in the night, and wanted the thrill of accepting a trade, lol.

Heat accept. We are very sad to lose a guy like Haslem, but overall we manage to upgrade both our 2nd and 3rd strings here. Bowen gives us a more natural backup SG, and of course a wealth of experience. Evans, while not the greatest contract around, is a solid rebounding presence.

Delonte West/2011 1st/2010 2nd for Damien Wilkins/Darren Collison

Orlando does this deal to get a young PG prospect in Collison at a much cheaper price point than Delonte. This deal is all about preparing for 2010.

D West = $4,254,250

Wilkins/Collison = $3,300,000 + 1,012,900 = $4,312,900

deal obviously works

Orlando accepts.

We lose a young PG in Collison but we felt his upside wasn't anything to write home about and we love what West gives our 2nd unit. We have built our bench thinking defense first, and we need a shot of instant offense off then bench. West has a team option in 2011 so we can terminate his contract if we need the cap room. We also get a 1st out of the deal and a likely early 2nd in the 2010 draft.

Trade approved, please update your rosters.

The Atlanta Hawks and the Cleveland Cavaliers have a blockbuster deal to announce

Atlanta send:

Joe Johnson
Kevin Garnett
Pau Gasol
Gabe Pruitt

Cleveland send:

Kobe Bryant
Andrew Bynum
Antawn Jamison
Ethan Thomas

Atlanta incoming salaries:

$23,034,375
$11,641,095
$12,526,998
$ 7,354,500

Total: $54,855,968

Atlanta outgoing salaries:

$16,452,000
$16,451,934
$14,976,754
$ 825,497

Total $48,706,185 X 1,25 = $60,882,731

$54,855,968 < $60,882,731

Atlanta is very sad to see 3 of the top players in the league leaving, we will miss KG leadership and defense, we will miss Pau hard working, dedication and skills and we will miss JJ scoring and defensive star presence but Atlanta is proud to bring one of the 2 players in the league who will bring all this qualities together to the team. Even if hurt to lose those 3 players we can't pass on the opportunity to bring Kobe to Atlanta.

We are bringing some long term contracts in Bynum and Jamison but we believe they are very good players who will compliment Kobe. We are also getting further in the luxury tax with this deal but if that's the price to get a player at Kobe's caliber we can't say no to the deal. We believe everything Kobe will bring with him should be enough to minimize the LT problems.

The Cavs accept. We hate losing Kobe, but we feel like the overall package we got will benefit the team more than the roster we currently have.

MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES ANNOUNCE THEIR FIRST OFFICIAL TRADE w GOLDEN STATE

Memphis Sends:

Rudy Gay - $3,280,997

Golder State Sends:

Anthony Randolph - $1,709,280
Kyle Lowry - $1,163,520
TOTAL - $2,872,800

Memphis incoming - $2,872,800
Memphis outgoing - $3,280,997 x 1.25 = $4,101,246.25
$2,872,800 < $4,101,246.25 ... The trade works

Memphis Accepts. Memphis Grizzlies are sad to see a dominating and a slashing scorer like Rudy Gay leave but are extremely happy to welcome their old player Kyle Lowry and a young upcoming SF/PF combo in Anthony Randolph. Memphis were looking for a player like Randolph who could help Gasol in the paint on both ends.

New York renounces Bird Rights to Rasheed Wallace, Mike Bibby and Lamar Odom.

according to the CBA I can still sign them for S&T since they were under the same contract for more than 3 years, I just can only offer them a 8% raise now instead of the 10.5% that was available beforehand. As long as i dont go over the cap.

this should give me a ton of cap space now.

Skorf if you would like to check mine now it would be ok, ill post up my new roster in a bit.

to be honest i was thinking about re-signing them all so that you get a crappy pick but the deals they want is way overpaying so screw them haha. also the pick is probably going to be 5th since there are some BAD teams in this game lol

Golden State approves this deal. We feel Rudy Gay is a premier defender in this league and will help with scoring right away. He is a guy we can build our team around, despite dealing away a young player with much promise like Randolph. Kyle Lowry became expendable with the draft selection of Eric Maynor. Thanks, and good luck to Memphis.

The Indiana Pacers and Charlotte Bobcats have agreed upon a trade.

Indiana sends Dan Gadzuric ($6,749,260) for Nazr Mohammad ($6,466,600).

Indiana accepts, it's been a boring day, and felt it'd be fun to swap C's with the same contracts

Trade approved, there was a veto request saying that this wasn't enough for Kobe and Bynum; but getting 2 premier big men in KG and Gasol and a quality replacement and all star in JJ is a lot to give up thus I'm letting it pass.
