BC: so I see you played Andrea quite a bit there when he was struggling
Casey: yeah I know, we needed spacing
BC: play him more (walks away)

2010 Free Agents who might be on trading tables:

Jon Garland (30) - $10MM mutual option with $2.5MM or $1MM buyout
Mike Hampton (37)
Randy Johnson (46)
Tim Hudson (34) - $12MM mutual option with a $1MM buyout
Kevin Millwood (35) - Rangers can decline $12MM salary for '10 unless he reaches 180 inns
Brad Penny (32)
Mark Prior (28)
John Smoltz (43)

The blue jays have no need for pitching help, just get everyone healthy and we're more than set

What he said. They'll have Litsch, Janssen, Romero, and possibly Marcum/McGowan on the roster by September.

Maybe that is why maybe we should get someone sooner? I would not mind getting someone proven rather than relying on an injured guy to come back and then except him to preform well.

Someone like Bedard would be nice, Mariners might be out of it in 30 games. Have someone more proven and playing for a contract, could be a good combination.

Rich Harden if healthy is a great option to look at...but that's a BIG IF (in the offseason option)

Another name I'd look at...if he's healthy by mid july...Ben Sheets. If we're in contention and need that one big starting pitcher to get us over the hump, the Jays would have to look into that.

Doc/Sheets/Janssen/Cecil/Tallet(or Richmond/Romero)

We have so many pitchers right now, we can afford to send Ricky Romero to the minors. This season is seriously shaping up to be ridiculously fun.

No need to trade for Bedard, he is going to be playing here next season. Harden is a different story.
