though my posts are typically the last post on a page and thus generally disregarded/missed. I nailed the last series exactly and have done this several times this year... not that I'm trying to toot my own horn or anything...

Nonetheless, this series the jays rebound and take 3 outta 4 from the chi sox

Danks looks to be the only challenge pitching-wise in this series...

This series is a must win considering they just lost to the Yanks and have to face the BoSox after. Does Ray HAVE to start on Sunday? :o

dude spyke, toot your own horn at will. we all make predictions so we can toot our own horn after we're right. :D

On that note....

CXT's PREDIK-SHUNZ

4-Game Sweep
5+ runs scored in every game for offense
CG for Roy Halladay
2 Meltdowns from Ozzie Guillen
1 Ejection for Ozzie Guillen
2 horrendous calls from base umpires
1 streaking fan on the weekend
2 HR's each from Rios and Hill
Snider hits a jack.
Jamie Campbell sucks at commentary.
1 comeback victory
Lots of beer

It'll be fun to watch Cecil again and see if he can start to get himself together in his time up here; that last start was quite fun. I'll be interested to see Richmond pitch as well.

Chicago only has 4 guys hitting over .256 in their normal lineup, and Brian Anderson only has 60 PA.

Better yet for Scottie Richmond, they have only 3 lefties in their lineup on a regular basis: Pierzynski, Getz and Thome. AJ is looking good, Getz is looking average and Thome has not been hitting very well at all (for average, though he's doing OK power-wise), though he has been drawing walks pretty well. They have 4 RBI producing players and the rest really aren't that impressive, and Dye and Thome are their significant power threats at 111 and 113 OPS+...

We should be able to pull this together if our offense keeps producing. Vernon needs to quit this now 7-game RBI drought and we'll need more than just him. Floyd has been awful this year, Colon hasn't been anything special and Richard has been very hittable.

Danks has been pitching well and if the games are close, I'd worry about Bobby Jenks, but we can sweep this series.

Dye just got suspended for two games, apparently he threw his helmet to the ground which bounced off home plate and hit the ump. Not sure when he's going to serve it or if they are going to appeal. My money is on he plays this entire series.

Wells is hitting a slump after 3 good games in 4. I suppose it's not a slump so much as the reality of batting, but it is still frustrating that he's been almost useless for 7 games and early in this one. 0 RBIs and only 2 runs in 7 games.

EDIT: I should at least mention that second game against Oakland, though, since he went 3/5 and scored once. No RBI, but that is still an excellent hitting performance. He's 2/14 with a walk and three strikeouts since then and was 2/8 with a strikeout in the two games before that. He has 5 extra-base hits since the start of May.

I picked up Cecil in my fantasy league yesterday, so here's hoping he can keep this up.
