I think the only way to get the Wizards pick is giving Kevin Martin, with no more value than the pick coming back (expirings at best, Songaila and Stevenson at worst).

But giving a top 5 pick for dump 1 year of Etan Thomas it's... a Grizzlies move.

Okay, with a number of negative nancy's here....I'm posting my BEST CASE scenario plan here that I think is still POSSIBLE.

Kings WIN THE DRAFT LOTTERY and select BLAKE GRIFFIN #1 overall.
Clippers get the #2 pick and select Ricky Rubio
Wizards get the #3 pick

Now, the Wizards have eyes for TWO players and get neither. They need to slash 7 million in salary and so we offer them a deal to select Hasheem Thabeet #3 overall in exchange for a top 10 protected 2010 pick(top 3 - 2011, top 1 2012,unprotected - 2013), but we have to take on the contract(s) of Etan Thomas and Javaris Crittenten.

Kings then select Eric Maynor #23 overall a true floor general to complement Beno Udrih.

Kings then select Jermaine Taylor #31 overall. A tremendous Shooter and Petrie style player.

Kings new roster:
C: Spencer Hawes, Hasheem Thabeet, Etan Thomas
PF: Blake Griffin, Jason Thompson, Kenny THomas
SF: Andres Nocioni, Donte Greene
SG: Kevin Martin, Francisco Garcia, Jermaine Taylor
PG: Beno Udrih, Eric Maynor, Javaris Crittenton.

Damn it man here we go again... lol I think that would be the most perfect scenario we could have eading into the FA period. To get Griffin AND Thabeet... that would be something special.... only other thing i would do is try EVERYTHING there is to try to get rid of Beno... that is all... and buy out Kenny... just a waste of sperm

Yeah dunno if Washington would do it, but they might if we throw in Greene, which I would be fine with since cisco can play backup to SG and SF. But if that happened, that'd be a pretty damn good.
A Hawes/Thabeet & Griffin/Thompson frontline would be freaking beastly.

I don't know why but for some strange, weird reason I would give up Cisco before I give Donte'


and yes the thought of having those 4 down low... FREAKY

Dunno, I like Cisco. I love the energy and passion he plays with. Its funny because he will make a few stupid plays pretty much every game, but its forgiveable because he plays his ass off and he is always trying to make something happen.

The other thing I think is important about Cisco is he does bring some leadership to the team. I remember Grant saying awhile back, that Cisco was the only player on the Kings who would stand up to Artest during games. With that said, I think his leadership going forward is important for a team that really doesn't have any strong leaders.

Other than for financial reasons, I wouldn't. Cisco is better and brings more intangibles to the team. Donte' may have a really high ceiling, but who knows how close he comes to reaching it.
