Ah, it looks like we have the ship righted. The starters are starting to pitch, and the hitters are starting to hit. Let's keep this going...

But I'm convinced the position players hate Johan... I have no other explanation for the worst run support for him in the league... :-?

I have to think that the Wilpons regret not going after Manny after this start.

Oops! Looks like Omar may have dodged a bullet here...

Reyes gets his 300th stolen base.
Mets win their 7th straight.

Yeah, baby! Back in first! Seven in a row! Up and down the lineup, the hitters are hitting, stealing, and fielding decently. The starters are pitching well, the 'pen, aside from Heilboy, er, Green, is also nailing things down. Yeah, yeah, it's only May. Let's see where things stand in September. But I'll take it! Two of three from the Bravos, please...

Ugh, Santana deserved a much better fate. Lowe should have tipped his cap to Omar after his last pitch. We need to get back on track...

Nice to see them finally score some runs when they needed to, it wasn't pretty but Ill take that type of win from the Mets any day of the week.

Man, that was tough. The calls evened out in the end (Reyes was safe on his attempt to stretch his double to a triple). We need the rubber game...

Dern it, Reyes and Putz better get it together. We need a winning road trip if we plan on holding onto first...

GREAT comeback! Five games over .500, for the first time this season. Can we please get some runs for Mr. Santana tomorrow?

So far so good today, gotta be happy with the way this series is turning out. The runs are pouring in today, maybe our bullpen can save Santana some pitches.

I feel like Santana was playing around today, he was like you finally give me runs well than I'm going to let them have some as well. Ok well not really, but its nice to see the Mets jump out early for him. Sheff's bat seems to be coming around and Wright is raking right now.

Meh, I guess we were playing with house money today. But Pelf pitched good enough, sans those fluky balks. We need 2 out of 3 with the Dodgers.

Trust but verify.
