I think it's worth noting that this thread doesn't have to specifically be about Noah. It seems that the main sentiment of the OP was that we need a defensive big and that while a frontline like Hawes/Thompson/Griffin would look great on paper, we may want to reconsider how well it ultimately works basketball-wise.

I agree, we need a energy and hustle big off the bench wether we have thompson or griffin. we had webber and divac starting but always had a pollard or keon clark off the bench. i dont know that many avalible unless u count reggie evans

we NEED to sign Gortat if we draft Rubio. If I were Petrie thats all I would focus on. He is perfect for our team. Just perfect.

Why Gortat? He will take away minutes from Hawes/Thompson and considering that we are a rebuilding team. We have to develop our future. And Gortat is not needed. I see Gortat making a good contribution for a contending team not a team like the Kings.

Because we are missing a defensive shot blocker big. He is only 25-26 (same age as Martin). There's no one else that fits the bill for our need in the paint better.

I think we should wait until the offseason to fully evaluate our team's status. After the draft night, we should have a good outlook of the team. But as is right now, I can't see adding any new players to a changing roster IMO.
