7:15 @ Busch Stadium

Ted Lilly 5-2 3.27 ERA

VS.

Joel Pineiro 4-3 4.17 ERA

Lilly has been pitching really well, keeping us in every game he starts. The biggest worry is our bullpen, followed closely by the production of our "sluggers". Derrek Lee will be coming off by far his best game of the year going 4-5, and would have scored the tying run if Soto's line drive wasn't snagged over at third base. We look to open this series right and get Lee, Soto, and Bradley off in the right direction. Hopefully Derrek's day will be the first stepping stone for the resurgence of this great lineup.... on paper that is.
how many jab steps does it take to get to milwaukee?

The same Joel Pineiro who had a 5.15 ERA last season.
