Surplus of Starters - Who would you trade and for what?

I wouldn't panic and trade a pitcher just because we have a surplus. It's likely we'll encounter further injury setbacks, so we'll probably need every arm we have. It's also likely that one or more of these kids will hit some type of wall eventually. Pitching wins championships and we're already in 1st place with a below average performance from Wells and Rios. Don't mess with what isn't broken.

i think if we do try and get a bigger bat with the extra pitching i think we should go for berkman. not sure how hard it will be to get him out of houston but maybe overbay, ryan, litsh and castro? maybe take out castro and insert a hitting prospect. fielder will be really hard to get out of milwaukee. i think they would want a lot to go back in return.

So the question is, which ones are for real? Which ones would you be willing to deal at the deadline for a possible aquiring of a bonifide starter?

I'd say that Cecil is 'for real', and maybe Romero, but I'd like to see more of him first. I think Tallet, Richmond, and Jannsen belong in the BP. I'd be open to trading Litsch, Ray, and Purcey.

Umm...No?

Fielder is 8 years younger than Berkman and is capable of hitting 50+ home runs. His defence is questionable but apparently his been loosing fat weight and gaining more muscle to become more mobile. If they Jays offer a good package I'm sure the Brewers would listen.
