Me too, but for some reason I unblocked them.

BTW, this whole thread is a 1 side loaded option. How can you give Rubio a big time free agent in Milsap and nothing to the Griffin side? So what we are really looking at is...

Real #1
pg. Udrih/ Flynn
sg. Martin/ Garcia
sf. Nocioni/ Greene/ Casspi
pf. Griffin/ Thompson/ Casspi
c. Hawes/Thompson

or

Real #2
pg. Udrih/ Rubio
sg. Martin/ Garcia
sf. Nocioni/ Greene
pf. Thompson/ Lawal
c. Hawes/ Clever

You cant give a free agent to one side and not the other. Now is there any doubt you take #1?

Obviously 1 is better. But how would we get Griffin, Flynn and Casspri? We could get 2 certainly, but I don't see getting all of them.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.

I have seen many mocks with Casspi going early 2nd. I wouldn't say it is too big of a reach to have him falling to the 2nd. Flynn on the other hand, will probably not fall to 23. But, there will be a good pg there for the taking.

Yeah, when I did it, I really couldn't think of a free agent guard that would compliment Griffin, but something that came to mind was what if the Kings used the second 1st round pick and the 2nd round pick and got a point guard:

Say a lineup of:
PG- Kirk Heinrich or Ben Gordon/ Beno Udrith
SG- Kevin Martin/ Francisco Garcia
SF- Andreas Nocioni/ Donte Greene
PF- Blake Griffin/ Jason Thompson
C- Spencer Hawes/ Jason Thompson

i think one of them is a free agent, but i'm not sure, would you guys take this line up as the future

If you take Milsap out, then this is essentially a Rubio vs. Griffin thread. And, that has been discussed here since just about last November. If you add in Milsap, then I would certainly take the second line-up. I think Milsap complements JT and Hawes pretty well.

Millsap will not be lost by Utah, they'll pay the lux for him for one season as Boozer is a free agent in a year so it'd be a temporary thing if Boozer doesn't opt out, he'll be off the books next year. But I guarantee the Jazz match ANY offer to Millsap. Especially our 5 year 45 milllion MAX offer that we can currently offer.

Gotta say, I'm leary about offering 5 year contracts to guys unless they are surefire deals. But even that said, one injury screws you. I like Millsap, but he could get injured or not perform as well as we'd like. Thats why Beno's contract is so bad, its hard to move a long contract like that. 3 years seems about right, in most cases.

I'm sure if most teams could keep contracts to 3 years, they would. But somebody out there is going to offer a longer deal and the player will take it. If you want to add talent via FA, you have to risk a little. I don't recall Millsap having any real health problems. What I would be wary of is how much better Deron has made him look.

Which squad would you want for the future of this team:
PG: Johnny Flynn/ Beno Udrith
SG: Kevin Martin/ Francisco Garcia
SF: Andreas Nocioni/ Sam Young/ Donte Greene
PF: Blake Griffin/ Jason Thompson/ Donte Greene
C: Spencer Hawes/ Jason Thompson

or

PG: Ricky Rubio/ Beno Udrith/ Jrue Holliday
SG: Kevin Martin/ Francisco Garcia/ Terrance Williams
SF: Andreas Nocioni/ Donte Greene/ Terrance Williams
PF: Paul Milsap/ Jason Thompson
C: Spencer Hawes/ Paul Milsap

If the draft and free agency fell this way what team would you rather be the future, the 1st or the 2nd, if you don't like tell me how you would fix it?

2nd, thank you;)
Speaking of now, Beno is still a better player than Rubio.,
But this will quickly change

If we don't get the #1 or #2 pick, do you think we will just sit still and draft BPA and move on? Or do you think there will be massive moves to the roster?

i.e. we draft Harden and trade Martin for a PG/SF
draft Thabeet and trade Hawes for a PG/SF
etc.

As a fan, would you want a massive move like that if it is the situation? or would you be content with another year of bottom 5ness.

How would those moves improve us necessarily? Trading when you have a bad team doesn't usually lead to having a good team.

I know, I didn't post great examples, but the idea of trading one of Martin/Thompson/Hawes simply to round out the roster and make room for who we draft.
