Mmmmm.

I just thought about a Harden at 5, Holliday at 18 draft, and it gave me great feelings that I can only describe as "complex."

If we had to choose from Teague or Lawson at #18 how would you guys pick?

It would greatly depend on who we took at #5.

My personal board, I think I've posted this recently, but I thik it's changed a little.

1. Griffin
2. Rubio
3. Evans
4. Thabeet
5. Harden
6. DeRozan
7. Jennings

My hope is that Jordan Hill goes before us, and I hope Jennings goes before us, leaving us with more options.

1. OKC - Griffin
2. NYC - Rubio
3. SAC - Jennings
4. WDC - Hill/Harden
5. LAC - Harden/DeRozan
6. SOTA - Evans

I would do a happy dance if it ended up that way. Obviously I'd be more excited about the #1 or #2, but I'm being realistic as a Wolves fan. We're born to get screwed, and not in a good way that involves whipped cream and handcuffs.

Lawson/Curry/Holiday anywhere after 12 is crazy good. Teague should slip. He is a poor man bayless.

evans is slipping for me. I wish Evan Turner was in the draft still. Thebeast does not slide past 5.

And yes, I love Jrue Holiday. In fact I think Holiday is an exponentially greater value at #18 than Jennings is at #5.

Or you could get a guard dog, put up a sign that says "Beware of Dog" and go about your day-to-day.

I completely agree on Holiday being a better value at #18 than Jennings at #5. The guy I really like at #18 at the moment is Austin Daye, and I like the SG types available at #28 more than I like the PG types.

I'm just saying that it makes more sense to keep an open mind in regard to Jennings than it does to trump up some bunco charges. To me, he's just one of 8 or so guys that I wouldn't complain too much about the Wolves taking in the lotto (Griffin, Rubio, Harden, Thabeet, Evans, DeRozan and Curry being the others). The only prospect I'm particularly bullish on in that group is Stephen Curry, and the only one I'd be too down on is Thabeet. It'll be very hard for the FO to screw this draft up in my eyes, but, going on it's track record, it'll be interesting to see how they manage to do it.

What players from this upcoming draft would you guys trade Foye for?

See, and that guard dog would be my perimeter defense. :-)

Agreed on Daye, but outside of the obvious lotto options, I don't like any of the shooting guards late in the draft.

"Trumped up bunco charges" means "made-up/fake" to me. And I don't think I've made-up anything here. But hey, I'm the baby.

If we take Jennings any earlier than #8, I'd cry. And then probably become a Thunder fan.

Perimeter defense is the "Beware of Dog" sign. The guard dog would be players with the ability to protect the rim.

Trumped up bunco charges mean "made-up/fake" to me as well.

Having real dogs at the sidewalk would be better than having signs warning that there are dogs in the house. The further away from the house people stay the better.
People could just walk right past the sign. Much like they walk past Telfair.
Look at the Rockets. They play great defense and have guard dogs protecting the house from the sidewalk.

How far do you guys see BJ Mullens dropping in the draft? I've seen mocks with us getting him at 28, but I can't possibly see him dropping past the early 20's.

I dont really want anything to do with mullins

How many big men projects have turned out good drafted that late?

Those two are all over the place on mocks. Curry seems like he will be a 6-10 pick but what about Lawson?

*I guess I would much more open to trading Foye for a 8-10 pick than I originally thought.

Also, what about trading him for Clark?

Who says he going to go that late?

Bynum turned out well. Jordan is looking like a steal in the 2nd. Players that haven't panned out weren't drafted so young and weren't the best center prospect of their recruiting class.

I mean late as in our #18 pick.

Bynum was taken at a lot younger age then Mullins and in the lottery.

Also neither Bynum (who didnt have the chance) or Jordan were as horrible as Mullins was this year. the Kid took a HUGE step back and needs at least another 2-3 years in college. Too bad he got bad advice and is coming out now.

All that said though I am glad because some stupid team will see his athletic numbers and fall in love with him and take him higher then #18. And then he will be the next Petro and within 2-3 years he will be out of the leauge.

Kid is rubbish

I think you're completely wrong on Mullins. Long term he's one of my top 10 favorites in this draft. He needs time. What 19 year old center doesn't? He's going to be a stud though. Time will tell.

You never know. He might be the next Petro, BUT, with alot of hard work there is a chance he could become the next Sene or even Robert Swift.

 good post.

I'm not real high on the kid either. I'm hoping for Jrue Holiday at 18.
