Re: Twist Draft Discussion (Franchise Draft Order Up)
That would be tampering. Everyone knows all Gremz looks at is who's got troy murphy. If he's not on either team, then he actually has to do work.

The same works for Travis Diener and Stephen Graham.
Are we all taking notes?

Re: Twist Draft Discussion (Franchise Draft Order Up)
Well I got Kevin Garnett who was my top choice pick for the #9 spot but I simply didn't expect him to fall to 9. I think that when healthy [which is an assumption being made here], he is still a game changer on both ends of the court and the best part is he does not need many touches or shots to be effective and he has shown how well he can adapt to a team game. The Dallas Mavericks so far:
Cc: _____/______
PF: K Garnett/_____
SF: _____/_____
SG: ____/_____
PG: _____/_____
If Deron and Roy don't go in the franchise player round I'm definitely going to be kicking myself for not having traded down further in the franchise player round.i

Oh, also, how have there not been like ANY picks since I left besides dcash's and mine lol
We should definitely have a time limit on picks else this will never finish.

Agreed, and there will be time limits in the other rounds, but I think the franchise round is a bit too important for me to arbitrarily assign a "BPA" to someone. The next rounds will have 4-8 hours between picks (haven't decided yet) during normal hours and people may send me draft lists for specific rounds.
Edit: in the future rounds, if you miss your deadline without sending a list in, Vintage, Gremz, or myself will give you the HIGHEST PICK AVAILABLE. I'd hate to be the guy that got Kwame Brown instead of someone, you know, useful, with their first pick in 01.

Re: Twist Draft Discussion (Franchise Draft Order Up)
I don't think that a pick should be assigned for like, a day or so. The person should just be skipped and as long as they pick someone else within the 24 hours [arbritrary, can be any time] they won't have a person autopicked for them. However, if they surpass this time period you can autopick for them.

If there's a dissenting opinion, it's up to the masses...
And Gremz, I bet you're just sick of saying "yes". That's the only reason we can't ask those questions.

the reason i never put time on the first round i because it was kinda started at random, its very important that you pick your franchise player, and if you are all like me which im sure you are, your entire draft is mostly planned already by judging what players should be left in each round at your pick.

Re: Twist Draft Discussion (Franchise Draft Order Up)
How the heck are Deron Williams and Brandon Roy still on board?!?
I should have traded down to #12

Billups, Gasol, Durant, Granger are all still on the board also.......someone is going to get lucky with one of their normal draft picks.

Re: Twist Draft Discussion (Franchise Draft Order Up)
Yeah for real. But I think that it would be criminal for either Roy/DWill to drop and I will be kicking myself if I ended up trading Paul/Roy for Garnett/whoever lol

Looks like Melo has a good chance for you to be there with the 03' pick.
If Roy doesn't make it through the franchise part of the game.
If you want I can trade you Rondo (picked with 06 1st) and you can send me Gasol (picked with 01 1st pick) to help even out our teams

Re: Twist Draft Discussion (Franchise Draft Order Up)
Heh as I said, I will be getting a certain French PG with my 01 2nd overall pick [because dcash will take Gasol for sure] so I don't think I'll need to do that

Re: Twist Draft Discussion (Franchise Draft Order Up)
Roy's a real good pick there. If blackice gets Deron at 12 though it'll be one hell of a steal

Re: Twist Draft Discussion (Franchise Draft Order Up)
wooo I get CARMELO for sure!
Thus setting up a Garnett/Melo/Parker core.
EDIT: blackice you have the #1 pick right? If so you should just make the thread for 97 and before and post your pick imo because we have already started drafting.
