Memphis Accepts. Memphis Grizzlies are sad to see a dominating and a slashing scorer like Rudy Gay leave but are extremely happy to welcome their old player Kyle Lowry and a young upcoming SF/PF combo in Anthony Randolph. Memphis were looking for a player like Randolph who could help Gasol in the paint on both ends.

Golden State approves this deal. We feel Rudy Gay is a premier defender in this league and will help with scoring right away. He is a guy we can build our team around, despite dealing away a young player with much promise like Randolph. Kyle Lowry became expendable with the draft selection of Eric Maynor.
