2. Hope someone doesn't like their draft position and trades to us Rubio for a player on our team and 23

3. Sign a SF that can shoot the heck out of the three and play great defense

4. Hope Hawes becomes the third piece.

Or draft, Sam Young comes to mind and Garcia could be that guy as well.

We'll have a better idea on how we'll rebuild tomorrow morning. Too many hypotheticals until we know that we will be drafting Griffin or a PG (I think those are our only real options with the 1st pick).

I'm hoping for Griffin. I would be thrilled with a front court of Hawes and Griffin.

Our big 3?

Hawes/Griffin/Martin. That's a good starting point and we'll have other talented players like Thompson, Garcia, and our #23 and #31 picks which i think Geoff will once again find great rotational players there: Examples: Maynor, Thornton T-Will, Sam Young, Pat Mills, D. Collison, Jermaine Taylor etc.

ALA the 04 Pistons? I dunno, you can win that way, but I'd rather see if we can assemble a big 3. Don't get me wrong, that Pistons team was sick. They had their perimeter defender in Tay, their scorer in Rip, their clutch 3 point shooter in Chauncey, their post defender in Sheed, and their rebounder/shotblocker in Ben. I guess Kev could fill the role of Rip, and JT could play the role of Sheed, but I dunno if that's gonna work for us. We'd need a tremendous defensive coach for one. The guys available and the guys we're looking at are mostly offensive guys-EJ and Westphal.

Ya we are just missing that Chauncey or Bibby. Someone who is a killer. Maybe Griffin could be that, I dont see Rubio being it though.

From an outside perspective, you guys seem to at least have a quality player at every position, outside of the point (I'm assuming Garcia and Noc are in your future and that Greene can be something at SF; I don't follow the Kings closely enough). Personally, for your guys to succeed I see you needing a point guard that can bring it all together. So either hopefully Jennings could develop into that or maybe you'll land into Rubio somehow.
