we would be blessed to land either Rubbio or Griffin and this franchise would have a much better chance at attracting LBJ or whomever in 2010 because of it

This team has NOTHING right now. Ok we have Gallo and Chandler who have potential. Gallo can be a as we have even seen game changer for us, and we need more of that. We need to take a chance on a kid that might actually be a franchise type player.

What happens if he busts? We still suck. If we get Lebron, it wont matter, if we dont get Lebron then we need game changers on this team, not guys like Martin.

I am sick and tired of the NBA's obsession with Power Fowards!

We need a freaking point guard.

I don't know what you were watching but Martin and Griffen's game were very different in college Blake is a much more polished and skilled player all Kenyon did was dunk. We have NEVER had a power forward like Griffen and if he use Lee, Gallo, and/or Nate in the proper sign and trade this summer we can also have our point guard leaving center and shooting guard as of weak spots. So for 1 season Hughes at the 2 and a combo of Jeffries and hot plate Curry will do.

My first try, the freaking Nets got the 1st pick...and I almost threw up at that thought, which also drops us to 9th.

BUT my third try, the Knicks won overall so I left it at that.

Just got call to go to draft selection tonight

Post#130 » by Big Chan » Tue May 19, 2009 5:19 pm

I have a dilemma. Just got called to go to the draft lottery selection and i need to let them know by 1:30. I would definitely say yes any other time, but I have a basketball game tonight and we are fighting for a playoff spot blah blah blah. Do you guys think i should go? I am not particularly lucky so i don't think me being there will help the knicks. Respond quick cuz i gotta let them know by 1:30

A legit franchise power-forward isn't good enough for you? I'd be happy as hell. Especially since hopefully getting him would mean that we will not overpay to keep David Lee.

Yup, and when we move into the top 3, Curry drops to the teens. Should be interesting where this dude ends up. Hell, the whole draft is a crap shoot after 2.

Every single year someone on here has a dream that we win the lottery, and every single year whoever does feels the need to post it.

Whats the point? Do they do anything besides announce the lottery selections? You'd probably waste a sh*t load of time waiting all for like 15-20 minutes..

If they let you meet H20 and C-webb and whatnot, well..thats a different story.
