If there's ever been a fan base that deserves the #1 pick, it's the Clippers. I'm glad they've got Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin as building blocks for the future. They need to take heed from Portland and clean house so you can groom the kids the proper way.

I had class during the lottery, but I get texts from ESPN for breaking news.

So as I was driving, I took a deep breath and opened the text... sweetness.

Rubio isn't coming out? Griffin who looks like he's inbred, he's pretty fugly, is the sure fire pick huh, he's fantastic, but Rubio is pretty fantastic as well. A stud pro ready PF seems like the smarter pick here and Dunny really couldn't screw this one up. Congrats Clip fans.

Pick Blake Griffin, trade Baron Davis and Zach , you got yourself a very nice talented young team.

Gordon, Griffin, Thorton, Camby, Kaman, Mike Taylor and DeAndre Jordan nice core to start with.

Trade the pick? WTF would you do that? Is Rubio coming out. I'd go down one slot for him if i got another stud back that's it.

Honestly I'd prefer Rubio as well. If they could let's say trade for Gay and the second pick and take Rubio and trade whoever they could, Kaman? Camby? Baron? Griffin is great but he's hard to market damn he's so ugly, he had a knee operation he plays with a ton of power so a weak knee would greatly inhibit his game if it's a recurring injury. Rubio is a slam dunk at PG at least offensively. Did the Clips actually tip there hand this early say it aint so.
