It could be worse.

Everyone is so negative, but we could be the Sacramento Kings

Jefferson>Martin
Our future salary>Sacramento's future salary (nocioni and udrih)
Love>Hawes or Thompson
Foye>Garcia?
we didn't win lottery w/ 6th best chance>not getting picked in lottery with #1 best chance

-I don't want to make fun of another team; but I do have to say that right now it could be worse.

Yeah it's not like we don't have a front office to make this offseason a success. Wait a minute...

I am just glad it was only a one spot drop.
If we were the Sacramento Kings would we all be living in or around California instead of MN? I could deal with that. Well of course Dr. K, RC and everyone else from California would have to move to MN.

I'd almost rather have no front office then Sacramento's front office (signing Udrih for MLE and trading for Nocioni's big deal)

I couldn't even decipher what they were trying to accomplish at the trade deadline last season.

The Wolves are in much better to proceed than the Kings, and I don't think you should dismiss the huge rebuilding job that the front office has done over the last two years.

The current front office's only real deal or draft of record was the Mayo/Love trade. Say what you like, but it's left us with a great player, and some valuable trade pieces. The trade has been endlessly debated, so I won't open that up again, but it's not like McHale is still pulling those strings. I don't dislike the talent evaluators we've got now, and it sounds like Taylor isn't unhappy with them either, as they were looking most closely at guys who are more on the financial/cap side of things.

Plus, with the size of the roster and the number of picks we have, it's almost guaranteed we make a deal...

Sit tight. We'll see... No Rubio, but Rubio, however enticing, is not a sure thing.

(ya like how I'm talking myself into this?)

Ill admit the Kings arent in a great spot, but the Griz and Thunder are now very much ahead of us in the rebuild process. The Blazers are far beyond us. The Nuggets are in the Western Conf Finals and are in a great position, ditto for the Jazz, we arent as bad as the Kings, but we are now behind 13 other teams in the conference.

My GF is from Sacremento. Believe me, Minneapolis is much nicer.

I don't know that the Grizz are clearly that much ahead of us.

This is true, but what about when the Kings move to Vegas in 3 years? And at least she's not from Bakersfield.

General Rule: If a girl says she's from Bakersfield, just laugh and walk away.

hmmm,

so what's worse, Kevin McHale as GM or having NO GM?

the red pill or the blue pill? (which is which I don't know - having no GM seems to be real but is it? If I pick up the phone I'm afraid that when I warp over I will see Morpheus McHale on the other end actively fleeing from Agent Stern.)

Maybe we should send in K Love as gm. Then he could keep us up to date on the draft process with his Twitter posts.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
