Brandon Jennings?
Even though he didn't have a great year overseas, this kid is still considered the 2nd best PG in the draft ehind Rubio, and probably has the highest upside esides Griffin and Rubio.
So, do you think Minnesota would take him at #6? The T-Wolves desperately need a PG. He may be a couple years away from being a really good starting PG, but to be honst, the T-Wolves likely aren't going to be a playoff team next year anyhow...
What do you think...would you want the T-Wolves to take a chance on this kid?

Dear God I hope not. I'm hoping the Kings take him. I don't even want him to be an option for us.

If his jumper has really improved like he says it has, then I'm all for it.

Sac is going to grab him. He's not really an option.

If we can get Hill and Jennings drafted before us I will appreciate it.

And Thabeet. I'd rather gamble on DeRozan or Evans than Thabeet.

I will add Harden to that list Wormy...my dark horse is Curry. Depending on individual workouts. We need to gamble.

If DeRozen, Harden, and Evans are all gone by the time we pick at #6, then I'm open to Jennings.

Re: Brandon Jennings?
If Jennings AND Hill can go before us, then I think that's the best possible realistic scenario we could hope for.
Jennings to the Kings and Hill to the Bullets(or whoever trades for that pick).
My Wolves board.
Tyreke Evans - Especially if he's a legit 6'5.5" with that 6'11.25" wingspan
James Harden - Assuming he's 6'5" with that 6'11" wingspan
Hasheem Thabeet
Demar DeRozan
I'd love for us to get in on Washington's #5 pick. Like I mentioned before, and with the help of shrink...
Wolves give: Mike Miller and Utah's 1st
Bullets give: #5, Etan Thomas, and DeShawn Stevenson
"Thomas is in the last non-exercisable year of his contract and cannot be traded. However, next season is currently an early termination option and if is not exercised, then the player can be traded."
When does he have to declare his intentions by? Does that create an issue with the trade?
Then take Evans and Harden(assuming he measures well). I think those two would pair really well. Grab Mullens with the #18, and Summers at #28.
C - Jefferson/Mullens
PF - Love/Smith
SF - Gomes/Summers
SG - Harden/Brewer
PG - Evans/Foye
Plus we still have Madsen, Cardinal, Stevenson, and Telfair to move for a better SF. Richard Jefferson? AK47?
This could be the year the Wolves declare in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our..." Yeah, we're sunk.

Re: Brandon Jennings?
Sacramento is really screwed at the #4 pick. I'm convinced that Griffin, Rubio and Thabeet go one through three (although both Chad Ford and now JG from Draft Express have said that Thabeet has at least a shot of going #2 over Rubio). That leaves Sac with Hill and Harden as the consensus two best players left. Hill duplicates Jason Thompson alot and Thompson just had a pretty good rookie season and I don't see how Harden and Kevin Martin can function together, neither can play PG or SF. So do they reach for a point or combo guard like Jennings, Evans, Curry or Holiday or do they trade down?
Best case scenario for us is they take Jennings and then Washington (or whoever trades with them) takes Hill.

I have the same list as you, but with the addition of Jennings. Mostly since the lottery, though, I've been trying to dream up scenarios in which Rubio slips to #6.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

only thing I can think is if his buy-out has problems and he cannot come over this year. maybe then someone passes, but I doubt it.

Re: Brandon Jennings?
I think Jennings would be a big upgrade for us. Unless Telfair suddenly gets it, which I doubt he will, we need somebody that does. Jennings has tons of upside and great athleticism. Obviously, when we bring him in for workouts we will have to see how that jumper is doing, because it seems to be a hole in his game. it will most likely depend on who's available to us at 6. If Harden is there, we just can't pass on him. If it's Evans or Derozan, we gotta at least give Jennings a good hard look.

Re: Brandon Jennings?
If we are looking for a playmaker on the ball then Harden is a better fit and talent than jennings. Allow Foye to defend the pg while playing SG. Harden is best on the ball anyway. It seems like the best case scenario.

I'd want a SG at 6 IF we can get a PG at 18 of one of Lawson/Holiday/Maynor. I want a PG upgrade more than anything in this draft. If we don't think any of them will be there (and one of them almost has to be), then I would really consider Jennings at 6.
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

Re: Brandon Jennings?
I would be more than pleased to see Jennings sitting there and have the Wolves grab him. I don't know much about the other players likely available there, except maybe Harden (who I watched some as a freshman) but the only serious concern I have with Jennings is his lack of experience running a team. The shooting should come and come sooner with his athleticism and any questions about his attitude have been silenced thus far.
It does appear to be a deeper draft at the 1/2 so perhaps they take something different at 6 and look for a 1/2 at 18. Of course a lot of this has to be open to revision depending on how the workouts shake things up.

I'm going into this draft pretty much the same way. PG is the position I want to upgrade the most, preferably with Rubio, Jennings, Curry, Lawson, Holiday or Maynor. I don't see Lawson or Holiday being available at #18, but Maynor might be. He's listed as a lotto pick by Bilas and Ford at ESPN, but DX has him going in the #18 range. I might look at Calathes, too, but PG's that big not named Jason Kidd don't have great track records.
