Michael Wilbon: Jays will finish ahead of Yankees

Post#1 » by LittleOzzy » Tue May 19, 2009 9:54 pm

Just watching Pardon The Interruption and Michael Wilbon feels the Jays will finish ahead of the Yankees this season.

Tony Kornheiser thinks otherwise though.

Wilbon gives TO mad love. He's one of my favourite American sports media personalities. He knows what's up.

Tony is a self professed Yanks and Sox homer so it's not a surprise.

How can Tony possibly be a homer of both of those douchey clubs?

we're safe until barkley starts betting on us or Tim Donaghy mysteriously becomes an umpire.

I'm pretty sure I saw Pete Rose in the stands the other day. I don't know, maybe I was just trippin' or something.

0-2 since Wilbon's prophetic words. We should keep a tab on this. The power of Wilbon might be stronger than anyone could have imagined.

0-9 since Wilbon's proclamation.

Something has to be done here. He should no longer be allowed to talk about any Toronto based sports team unless he is being negative about them. Start flooding his email or something. The jinx has to be reversed somehow.

This is the most hilarious thing I've ever seen. One statement and kchung! The next thing you know we've lost a gazillion games in over a week.

I remember when Wilbon said the Raptors would be contenders after they started 3-0 in 2004. Then you know what happened after that...
