Seahawks v. Cardinals

Post#1 » by Sweezo » Fri Sep 14, 2007 11:08 pm

Let the battle for the NFC West begin! Or something...

Edgerrin James had a decent first game, and I hope the 'Hawks defense just levels him. Not that I mean ill-well towards Edgerrin James, but I want to see this team just kill the opposing running game.

I'm curious to see what Atkins does in the 10-15 snaps he gets. Here's a mid-round draft choice that sounded like a project who suddenly becomes a key member of the rotation in his second pro game. And the coaching staff seems to think he's better in the running game than the passing game...which is the opposite of his reputation as a college player.

Sounds like Hill is out, Bentley's in at OLB. Hope Hill gets healthy quick.

Having Hill out hurts. I don't really have any mental notes about Bentley's play..so I'm going to hope for the best!!

I still see no reason the Hawks shouldn't win this game handily though.

Wow, after a few nice passes, the offense craps on themselves and have back to back offsides.

Seeing Shaun run with a cast on is making me hold my breath, just WAITING for the fumble recovery by the Cards.

It's hard to fumble when you just run into your blockers at the line of scrimmage and go down.

Offense looks terrible right now, and it seems like only a matter of time until we get another punt blocked. What's wrong?

Super Tatupu

Alexander for TD! Now only 3 down. What was once lost, seems like it's close to being back.

And they have the lead. This is the first game where you watch Branch go and think, yeah, he was probably worth that first round pick. He's making great catches, and being very elusive.

That's about as painful a way to lose a game as I can think of. The team holds on to the ball all game, so that's when they decide to cough it up.

I knew that cast would bite the Seahawks in the ass at some point....heh, Shawn will deny that the cast led to that fumble, but it had to play a role in at least a minute point.

Well, they wouldn't be the Seahawks if they didn't do that at least once in the year...
