Mike Conley

Rubio is most likely going to Memphis, making MCJ expendable.

Would you guys be interested in him and what could we give up?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Conley has shown nothing to prove he's going to be anywhere close to a top-level PG in this league.

The Clippers will trade Griffin to Memphis to get their PG of the future <--what they need
That will leave Memphis with a line-up of
Conley/Mayo/Gay/Griffin/Gasol <---- Pretty scary IMHO!

THIS WILL HAPPEN!

Personally I'd love to have Mike Conley over Dragic; I'd rather have a lot of point guards over him.

Yeah that's complete bull. The dude increased production massively over the second half

So yeah. he's shown he can run a team, albeit one with shoddy pieces around him

I'm down with Conley. I'd even trade the 14th pick for him.

^I wouldn't think twice about moving the #14 for him...I'd throw in Tucker and ask for Ross back too :D

i like it. ross and conley would be great additions, but i see them as more offensive threats rather than the defensive route we are "saying" we're doing. not like alando is a great defensive player either haha

I'd rather use the #14 pick on Flynn, or Jennings, Teague, or Maynor than any kind of trade for Conley.

^You'd SERIOUSLY pass on Conley - in his 3rd year - over ANY of those guys?

If Conley were drafted now, he'd be on par with Rubio, no doubt.

I just don't think much of Conley. There's not much progression there, andd a solid or good 2nd half season in his 3rd yr isn't showing me much regardless of who is around him. I'd take my chances on those guys (especially Flynn/Jennings) if we do go PG. I didn't even like him when he was coming out, I'd certaintly take Rubio over him. If they do deal Conley to draft another, that might just show what they actually think about him.

^That's true...I think they draft Rubio and keep them together as learns under Conley

I really like Jennings from what I've seen...would love him here

IMO I think Rubio would end up starting over Conley. But we will see what happens.

--- Really? I respect your opinion, and haven't watched Conley much at all but I'd got the impression he was just okay, but no-one special. I do recall that mid-season the coach kind of decided to give him the team to run and see if he was the guy they wanted. I take it he did well.
Tell you what - Houston has sure drafted nicely they last few years. Scola, Landry, Brooks. Them and Utah always have a strong team, and add quality young guys. Why can't we ... he asked rhetorically.

^haha

You sir are a ghey pervert :D

Conley's underrated...I've probably overrated him a bit...I just think for the number of FAIL lottery picks we've seen, you could do a lot worse than Mike Conley for the 14th pick...

Conley resembles a young kj. He was also a top 5 pick in a better draft class than this year is; he's only in his 3rd season. I don't see how people are not even giving him a chance.
