Kinda OT:Badger game Vs. Citadel

Post#1 » by bigkurty » Sat Sep 15, 2007 3:44 pm

So I just realized this stupid game is on the big ten network and I have to say I am pissed off. **** I give Time Warner almost $130 every damn month and they continue to have this fued with the big ten network and the NFL network. I never think about the fued until I can't watch my game but then I get pissed. Maybe I should finally call that "I want my big ten network" number.

So what are you guys doing for the game? I have been hearing these adds on WSSP for Ka Martinis and more all week in Franklin and I live in Franklin so I was thinking about jetting over there. Marcus Brody is supposed to be there for WSSP as well. Any of you guys thinking about going?

No. I just have gamecast going and am listening to it on the radio for now. If anyone wants to go watch the second half somewhere, let me know.

I can't even get the Big Ten Network (I would pay for it, but grudginly) with Charter.

The Badger defense really has to step up right now.

Yeah I would totally pay an extra couple bucks a month for it and the NFL network. Of course I would rather get them for free but I am sure they will just raise prices anyway.

And WTF is up with our D? I thought they were going to be good but they can't stop anyone. Unless they get their act together quick, the whole national championship possibility is probably just a pipe dream.

Looks like the Badgers should have the game put away now.

The game against the Hawkeyes should be a close one the way the Badgers have been playing this season.

We just suck against a spread offense like a lot of other college teams. It has certainly been good practice against it early in the season.

I have the BTN on DirecTV. It's stupid for Time Warner to claim they are looking out for their customers and if they carried BTN they would have to pass the cost to their customers. BS!

Every shopping channel they carry they get a nice kickback on the percentage of sales. Do they pass that on to their customers by reducing their rates? Of course not. DirecTV didn't raise rates when they started offering BTN, neither did Dish Network.

For sports fans, TWC is the worst choice.

Anyway, Badgers defense was shaky (again). Hill had a nice game but not a great overall performance.
