Timberwolves have no doubt put lots of time in the draft. What do you do throw that out with a new regime? kinda akward for sure.

So if your theory is right that he didn't want to attach his name to a sinking ship, why agree to the interview?
You're saying he had to sit down at an interview to discover this, then he suddenly realized attaching his name would hurt his image?
Sigh.
Maybe he didn't want to base a major decision and potential opportunities on internet rumors and league scuttlebutt.
Sigh.
Maybe he wanted to sit down the owner and analyze the situation himself. Get a feel for the organization before he turned down a GM opportunity.
Sigh.
I know, crazy...everybody always makes their major career decisions without actually seeing the place they are going to be working and meeting the people they are going to be working with.
Sigh.
And nobody out there could ever tell the difference between getting interviewing for the opportunity to run a franchise and actually running it for a significant period of time. Once you are interviewed by a sinking ship, your reputation is sunk no matter what happens after that. Everybody knows that.
Sigh.
A poor effort, even coming from the Taylor/McHale propaganda HQ that is your brain...

haha, I can't say "+1" though. If you like unlimited food, you need to hit up Fogo De Chao. I probably ate 3 pounds of meat (pause) last time I went. Andat you guys bringing tupperware.
I don't know where this Taylor selling the team talk is coming from. FYI, Taylor was the one who saved the team from being moved to Lilweezyana. He's a MN guy and if he did sell, I think he'd only sell to a local guy.
I'm writing that down. Fogo De Chao. Ok, I just googled that place, it's literally a block away from my work. I'm going there, and soon. I can look out my window and actually see it. SWEET! I'm really not a fat kid, I actually struggle greatly with putting on weight, except in college, but that's another story. I get called "the fat kid", and even refer to myself as that because I'm CONSTANTLY eating, but if I even think about working out, I drop 10 pounds. I have CoreyBreweritis.
Be careful. Fogo De Chao could actually be translated as "Fat Man Heaven". You will go in, and you might never leave.

And the problem with that would be... I love me some food. Ok, let's be honest, I love me ALL food.
