Bobcats War Room- Pick 14 for 2009

Post#1 » by August Us Seazr » Fri May 22, 2009 7:12 pm

With this pick, we conclude our lottery selections. To end up at 14, we work another trade with Phoenix. I would be a little apprehensive that a second deal with them would not work as well as getting Bell and Boris for Swish and Dudley. But enough of my fears!

Let's strike some fear into the rest of the NBA!!! Big Board roster spot # 14 gets filled within 24 hours. Who do you like... well besides the cast of 13 already selected, most recently included is DeJuan Blair of Pittsburgh.

Lets move on to today's vote! 24 hours until polling ends.

I personally like Holiday and think he will be one of the pleasant surprises from the draft. I think he will be a very solid Pro.

Jrue. Seem like he has some of the similar knocks on him that Rondo had coming out of college.

I'm still hung up on SGs. My vote for Budinger is a vote for value at that position. Not feeling much in the way of attachment to any of this grouping yet.

Nobody really exits me.
So i vote for johnson, cause we dont need a point Guard.

I think Sam Young or marcus thornton deserve some considerstion as well

Lawson is probably the best player available but I went with Teague. We really picked the wrong year to have plenty of PG´s. Teague is the best scorer on the board and also has the most potential in my opinion.

I´m a little bit supspicious about Holiday, He seems to be getting compared to Rondo and Westbrook but he isn´t half the athlete those guys are. He´s probably my second or third choice here so I don´t hate him, but I think he has 0.0 star potential and his ceiling is a very good role player.

Call me crazy but every game I watched Flynn play he blew me away with his ability to get in the lane at will. I haven't seen a guard with his quickness and handle since, well Chris Paul. I don't think it would be that much of a roster mess either since DJ plays off the ball most of the time anyway. Other than that, I'd have no problem drafting Budinger here if he shows well in work outs.

And with a very splintered vote, position # 14 on our big board goes to Jrue Holliday. I thank all of you who have voted. And for those who didn't I invite you to vote on the next poll which starts momentarily.
