Hollinger might just have owned Phil

Short of calling PJ out, Hollinger pointed out all the coaching mistakes of Phil in crunchtime.

Probably one of the better Hollinger articles this season.

Point 1 - Yes
Point 2 - No. If there was .04 or a second left then maybe the lefty issue but there was plenty of time for a jumper either handed.. even Jamaal Wilkes would've had enough time to curl that globe around his head and launch it... in fact there was time for a dribble. Fisher should've dribbled to the right a foot then lifted and he would've drawn three shots as Nene flattened him.
Point 3 - Maybe. The whole world agrees the ball should've gone to Kobe. But what would've happened is anyones guess. Foul block, foul in the act, No call (anyone see Denver/Dallas last week?).

Phil's biggest error came in taking out Shannon Brown. The Lakers were energized and strong and hustling with Brown on the floor for that long stretch of the 4th. Phil should've learned by now that the Brown/Kobe backcourt has been golden.

i usually hate hollinger, but he was spot on about the subs and that jump ball violation. those really cost us. he didn't mention the other play though where kmart just pushed pau out of bounds, and no call. i swear the ref's are swayed by analysts. since the lakers are not considered a tough team they call everything, but when another team like the rox or nuggets they are allowed to play because they are considered tough. phil needs to get his head out of the sand. i still think we can take one if not both in denver, but soon phil's dumb ideas are going to get us bounced...
Only on realgm is 27,000 points, 5 rings, 1 rs mvp and 2 finals mvp considered overrated!

How about we play Bynum in the second half? Doesn't that sound like a fabulous idea?

Time to go to an 8 man rotation...

Kobe
Ariza
Brown sub to give them rest

Odom
Gasol
Bynum
Luke, Powell sub

Luke in when Melo comes out for Kleiza to keep LO fresh and out of foul trouble, Powell in for foul relief to Bynum/Gasol a handful of minutes

It's best 3 of 5 now... and I think EVERY single Laker fan on this board would take the Lakers in a 3 of 5 series against any team in the NBA home court or not!!

Let's Roll.

Damn mistakes. I'm nervous because if we continue these mistakes, We could trail 1-3 going back to LA. :(

True but the Magic not doubling LeBron w/ 1 sec left to have a shot player guard the in bounder who doesnt have enough time to get a shot is way worse.

The Magic blew a 2 point lead w/ 1 sec left by gaurding the in bounder... how do you not double team LeBron. The in bounder didnt have enough time to get back into the play... I'm waiting Hollinger
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!
