News: The Packers signed Francies from the practice squad Saturday, the team's official web site reports.

Spin: Green Bay placed Carlyle Holiday (knee) on injured reserve the same day, and with Greg Jennings (hamstring) unlikely to play Sunday, the Packers needed another body at receiver. Francies should see a couple of looks against the Giants' weak secondary.
