Zach Randolph concensus

Post#1 » by SD2042 » Sun May 24, 2009 1:04 am

Alright, the Grizzlies are settling for second place after missing out on the Blake Griffin sweepstakes. Since the Clippers won the lottery they find themselves having to make the decision to trade Zach Randolph to make room for the unofficial #1pick. The Grizzlies still need a quality PF as another option to rely on. Could Randolph despite his history as a headcase be the PF the Grizzlies need to help themselves get better?

ZBo is a black hole on offense and plays no defense. He gets the most worthless 20/10 games in the NBA. Not to mention his contract is too long and he's a known locker room problem.

No thanks.

What about Beasley? Although he appears lazy at times, he's not a locker room problem, has a small contract and is more efficient. Can also play the 3 at times.

probably the best definition of ZBo game.

Don´t want him, he´s a cancer

I remember when he played here in Brazil (U-19, I think). He worths nothing! This guy is a bum! Many american players stopped to take picture with the crowd (I remember Dunleavy Jr stopped and was all smile) but guess who was the one who didn´t stop...

IMO the Grizz FO should only explore a deal for Zach as a very last resort. Only if Boozer, Millsap, Lee, Glen Davis, AV... ... ... all won't come to Memphis. Only after that would I want them to offer Jaric/Darko or Buckner for him.

ZBo should only be coming to Memphis in a deal in which Memphis swaps #1 for #2.

I would rather Darko or Darrell start than that black hole. Seriously, I don't want any part of that jackass.

I agree with GrizzledGrizz Fan. Memphis has the cap space to get a better fit for them at power forward in free agency. They don't need to even think about Randolph unless it's in some sort of three way deal where Memphis gets Griffin. But we know that isn't going to happen.

I imagine the poll will be close to unanimous unless Clippers fans start flooding it.

It makes more sense for either Camby (more a Pf than a C), or Kaman be included in the deal. Maybe work DeAndre Jordan into the mix. Sent back Jaric, and Gay, fillers. Then aquire a FA Sf. This would give the Grizz a defensive and rebounding presence in the middle. :usa:
