MY BOS off-season plan

Post#1 » by Sebzor » Sun May 24, 2009 3:18 pm

1) BOS-SAC trade
B. Walker/T. Allen/B. Scalabrine/G. Pruitt
-for: D. Greene/B. Udrih/23rd pick

SAC save money (get out of Udrihs contract which was a mistake) and get 2nice young players + have 3rd and 31st pick
BOS get Udrih as backup PG (i believe is more suited, his contract is long and painfull but he will bring something to the team), i like Green >> Walker and the 23rd pick (if SAC doesn't wanna give 23 they will give 31, but because Udrihs contract i took 23). I would see Ainge select someone like: J. Holiday/D. Christmas/T. Williams

2) resign: E. House or sign: K. Rush
3) resign: L. Powe or G. Davis
4) sign: A. Gray
5) sign: R. Swift
6) sign: P. Mensah-Bonsu
7) sign: J. Singleton or W. Hermann or Q. Ross

Team:
Rondo/Udrih/House
Allen/*draft/Giddens
Pierce/Singleton - Hermann - Ross/Greene
KG/Powe - Davis/Mensah-Bonsu
Perkins/Swift/Gray

Everyone's saying re-sign Powe and penciling him in the rotation, when he'll be lucky to be back by the end of the season, and who knows how effective he'll be then.

i'd write him off for next year

Udrih has a horrible contract! We will never trade for him...

That's worse than last season's off-season.

We have to add a good shooting, energy, and defensive swingman, Marion or Artest come to mind with this, maybe a backup point guard, a true backup C- I'm thinking Chris Andersen or Pachulia or maybe adding JO and having Perkins come off the bench and maybe a backup point guard like C.J. Watson or resigning Marbury might be ok.
