even though the baseball season is so long, if the Cubs get swept at home by the Pirates -- I would consider the ship to be in the process of fully sinking. it's tough to call a May game a must-win, but a loss today would be very very bad. Infact, I don't even want to imagine a loss tonight. I am extremely disappointed in the Cubs so far. Soto and Bradley have been miserable and Fontenot does not appear to be an every day player.

We really need a win tonight. The body language against SD said it all. We're dejected and a loss tonight would be terrible.

Hey looks like we're heading on an 8 game losing streak. Something has to be done. Whether it's firing Lou or getting rid of the hitting coach.

I really really really wanted to post during the game... but instead of watching from the 5th inning on, I went outside and played some football.

My time was better spent.
