Dahntay Jones "TRIP" on Kobe. Intentional or not?

I personally think it was a very dirty play, and so does Phil Jackson stating it was unacceptable. Kobe obviously doesnt want to see Dauhtay Jones suspended, so he can skool him in game 5. What do you guys think will happen.

As a fan of neither team, I saw it as a definite, dirty play. Reflex or not, it's unacceptable and he should get 1 game...

Definitely intentional. He extended his leg when he looked at Kobe when there is no need to.

Clearly intentional, in my opinion. He's a dirty player. In game three after he shoved Kobe in the back mid-air, he had a brat like grin on his face, as if he did it on purpose and was proud of getting away with it. Spineless piece of crap.

He clearly tried to trip Kobe on that play tonight. That's the type of stuff that can end a legend like Kobe's career prematurely. I hope the league reviews the play and hits him hard. That type of bush league nonsense has nothing to do in professional sports.

Personally, I dislike that type of player with a passion — guys who aren't good enough nor brave enough to compete within the rules. Cowards and wimps. A guy like that caused me to break my arm in a soccer game, I shook lose of him and he swiped my legs because that's all he could do.

Intentional. He should be punished for playing like that.

I couldnt agree with you more. You just hate to see stuff like that and were all glad that nothing bad came out of that play. Kobe's reaction after the play almost costed him a technical as well, but luckily Kobe will brush it off, and Kobe will KILL IT in Game 5!!!

Unbelievable that the refs either didn't see it or chose to ignore it.
The league cannot possibly let this one get by without any penalty.
Jones was badly beaten by Kobe and just wanted to stop him by triping him. He could have caused a significant injury. What a disgusting play!

It was obviously intentional and Dahntay is definitely a dirty player.

But I hope he isn't suspended because he is a scrub and Kobe is lighting him up, and it would be fun to watch Kobe go off on him in game 5.
