Yep, and add to that:

A) Lebron isn't playing with a low post guy as the best player on his team. In fact, the only real post scorer on the Cavs is Big Z, and he's more of a jump shooter than anything at this point.

and

B) His jumper, while bad, was never as broken as Evans' jumper is.

Lol...yes, i'm definitely not trying to say Evans is Lebron. I'm simply pointing out that even as a freshman, Evans knew how to get into the paint and did so at will, getting valuable points from the ft line. He won't ever be as good as Lebron, but it gives us a reason to take him even if his jumper is sub-par.

I don't buy this argument. James Harden got to the line more (both total and per game) than Evans did both his freshman and sophmore year. And has a better shot than Evans. At will? Derrick Rose averaged about 1 FT/2 FGA taken and dropped to 1FT/5FGA with the Bulls- who have a more uptempo game than we do. Its a faster league where the defenders have better technique. Evans averaged 1FT/2.6FGA in the same Memphis offense, less than Rose, and would be coming to a team that likes to play the half-court game with Al and Love. I really think people are overstating how often Evans would/could get to the line in our system.
