Why 7 T's and Refs who call it

Why 7? Who decided 7 techs will get you suspended? 7 technical fouls. Kobe has what? 5. Then the 5th one got rescinded by the NBA and that 5th one didn't even deserve so the NBA got that right. AND NOW Dwight Howard got 6 technicals. Now I do not think he deserved all 6 and this is me not following what all those 6 are. If someone would like to plead their case why he deserves all 6, feel free. But still, what makes 7 the lucky number? Just because the NBA said so. *

And now the Refs. Phil got fined for saying what he said. I know Phil was trying to make a point and its a good point worth him paying for it. But wtf... is up with the refs? One of the worse officiating I've seen. And I remember last year was bad... and don't get me started on the year Wade and Shaq won the ring with Wade trips to the line.

* F you NBA. I don't watch this game so PLAYERS can sit out because you make made up dumb rules that even the refs can be biased about.

Solution: I think the game needs more refs. Three is not enough. Have 3 on one side, and 3 on the other. This allows more eyes on the games and less OLD ASS refs running back and forth trying to keep up with 20 year old men running up and down the court.
(I remember coaching my middle school girls basketball team years ago, and the 80 year old refs called a time out to tell the girls on both teams to slow down because girls should not be running that fast. I told the girls in the huddle to push it more and forget what the refs said and winked at the other coach to do the same.)
Hell, even have instant replay and assign a ref there too.

that flagrant foul on bynum...since when was putting both hands on the ball a flagrant foul...? i dont get these refs, if stern really wants lakers to be in the finals, he better tell his refs to stop making stupid idiot calls.
