I'm just saying we have starters. Not all of them are ready RIGHT NOW, but we have at least two really compelling prospects in Romero and Janssen coupled with Marcum and McGowan and then Doc aside. We have INJURIES right now, there isn't much sense in making a trade to cover a hole we only have because of injured players.
When Doc has Marcum and McGowan pitching behind him and we're rotating Romero and Janssen (and maybe Richmond) through the final two spots, our starting pitching is going to look a lot different. So yeah, again, no point in trading for starting pitching.
We could start by never using Jesse Carlson or BJ Ryan ever again, but that's another story.
Wells is without a homer, or even an RBI, in past 10 games
