What a crappy playoffs. Well for me, bruins lost and I lost money because the hawks couldn't make it to the finals.

I don't care who wins if it is a pitt-det, I don't mind either teams.

WOOOOO HOOOOOO Pens are going to the cup again. Anyone remember the Oilers of the early 80's? Lost in the finals against the Islanders, next season beat the Islanders in the cup finals.

Thank you for turning into MVP again for one series, Cam.

You were brilliant.

That being said, I'm pulling for the Pens to get the Wings back.

Go Pens. Doesn't matter if they play Detroit or Chicago, go Pens.

CLEARY!

He's been a complete beast in the playoffs. Detroit's secondary scoring comes through yet again.

Huet with an incredible save to save the Blackhawks season. Wings will probably prevail in overtime.

Rematch.

Outstanding season by the Blackhawks, you'll be seeing them at least in the WCF for a long, long time.

Congrats to the Wings. The experience level of that team prevailed big time and gave the Hawks a lot of lessons on making mistakes in the playoffs.

See you in the West Finals next season unless San Jose finally wakes the f*** up

From a Red Wings fan point of view the finals schedule is brutal. Back-to-back games to start? 3 games in 4 nights? That's stupid in any series, let alone the Cup Finals. Bullsh*t, I hate NBC. That's a pretty big advantage to the Pens considering Detroit's injuries.

I don't like the schedule either. NBC is a joke. The sunday game time has yet to be determined and it will be based on the NBA game. If NBC starts the game at 5, it's bull. Back to back games and then 2 3 day breaks to end the series is an epic failure. The schedule should have been every other day.

Regarding injuries, every team has team this time of year. Crosby and Malkin were both hurt last year during the cup finals. No excuses.

I don't like the back to back games either, but I definitely think it favors the penguins. Detroit will be probably going with only 5 defensemen for the majority of the first game, unless Ericchson comes back from an appendectomy. Plus Lindstrom might be playing injured. If the penguins can keep dumping the puck in with staal, malkin and crosby they will wear them out. Chicago almost did it.

I'm also wondering how the Penguins will deal with it. They have been playing Malkin and Crosby as 4th line centers for half of the playoffs now. Can they do that in back to back games? Seems like a lot of ice time with 0 days rest. It would seem like a radical move to bring up Sykora or Dupuis at this point, but it will be difficult to beat Detroit with little depth and potentially wearing out the stars.

Lidstrom is playing and I'd be surprised if Ericsson doesn't play. Regarding Crosby and Malkin, they're fine. They barely played above 22 mins even centering the 4th line. They aren't tired. Plus having a 4th line of Malkin/Crosby/Staal with Adams and Satan is so much better then putting in Sykora or Dupuis. With Gonchar still not healthy, keeping 7 d is a must. And why even bother with a winning line up? Keep it the way it is.

Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and just ignore stupidity from now on. I mean, I'm sure he went back into time, made sure Crosby was 100% healthy, watched the games, came back into the present and posted this for me.

There's so many Cleo's on this board; it's incredible. I still haven't seen Griff since he predicted San Jose being such a legit powerhouse.
