I would say that Conley has more value than Foye at this point, and I don't put much value in late 1st round picks. :dontknow:

Well, I would do Foye for Conely, but throwing in Pekovic's rights is way too much. Maybe the 28 for sweetener.

Yeah, I wouldn't trade Pekovic's rights straight up for Conley.

You wouldn't trade Pek's rights straight up for Conley? I don't think I'd be able to say yes fast enough to a straight up between the two.

I am not sold on Conley as a sure thing, and I am one of the biggest pekovic fans, but even that being said if it was Pek+filler for Conley I would do it. He is young, a true pg and would be a sure starter for a while. But why would Grizz trade for Pek when they have Gasol?

6. a. Evans b. Derozan
18. a. Lawson b. Mullens

Would like an Evans/Mullens or Derozan/Lawson draft a lot I'm just not sure I like more so forget the rotation.

I guess I haven't even seen Pek outside of highlights, but he's about as close to a sure thing we will get for young centers as he is already all-euroleague 1st team and we really need a C and have a good chance to get a starting PG in the draft this year. I guess it's moot though, since they have Gasol.

Wow, Tyreke is Reggie's brother? This changes everything....
If Tyreke grows a beard like this:

...and exhibits just 1/5 of the rebounding and defensive tenacity of Reggie, then I'd love to see him in a Wolves jersey!

I think he has a brother named Reggie, but it is not that Reggie.

Different Reggie Evans, yes. When I first heard it, I was like, "really? COOL!?" But sadly, different Reggie Evans. :-)

His brother Reggie is a 35 year old manager of a communications company. But his three brothers get ragged on for being overly protective and giving him the Todd Marinovich treatment.

Who would you draft? If no trades happen to this team?

Draft:

i think Evans and Teague would be a horrible match together. IF we draft Evans then we would need to see him as a PG or at least the primary ball handler.

6. Derozan/Holiday/Evans
18. Lawson/Mullins/Williams
28. Gibson/Green/Young

If we go derozan at 6 then i want lawson at 18 adn Gibson at 28. if we go Holiday at 6 then i want williams at 18...ect

Lawson/Telfair
Foye/Derozan/Brewer
Gomes/Miller
Love/Smith/Gibson
Big Al/Madsen

Holiday/Telfair
Foye/Brewer/Green
Gomes/Miller
Love/Smith/
Big Al/Mullins

Evans/Telfair
Foye/Williams/Brewer
Gomes/Miller/Young
Love/Smith/Young
Big Al/Madsen

1- Trade

To the Jazz:

-Brian Cardinal
-Mark Madsen
-Craig Smith
-Randy Foye

To the Wolves:

- Andrei Kirilinko

2- Trade

To the Bulls:

- Mike Miller

To the Wolves:

- Kirk Hinrich

3- Draft:

#6: Stephen Curry
#18: BPA between Austin Daye, BJ Mullens, or Earl Clark (i.e. longest bpa)
#28: BPA between Victor Claver, Rodrigue Beauboix, Patrick Mills, or Nick Calathes (I like Calathes here)

4- Sign Sheldon Williams to a 2 year deal
5- Sign Rodney Carney to a 2 year deal
6- Sign D-League big to 1 year contract

1- Curry/Telfair/(Calathes/Mills)
2- Hinrich/Brewer/Carney
3- Kirilinko/Gomes/(Daye/Clark)
4- Love/Williams/(Daye/Clark)
5- Jefferson/Williams/D-Leaguer

The Wolves then make 2011 their big off season, they are able to bring along a trio of young players with veteran support, and they keep Pekovic in the mix by not going overboard on someone like Gortat.

^^ I could roll w/ that rotation, but I wonder if that is really AK's value to Utah, he only plays 27 mpg. I wonder if we could base a move of MM to Utah, and Foye to Chicago; that way we should get a little extra something from Chicago

That would be a major upgrade in talent. It would be extra nice if AK47 and Hinrich didn't get paid quite so much.

Hinrich would have to take the 2-guard on defense, and hopefully Curry can stick with point guards(that worries me a bit).

But I would say Mullens before Daye at 18 in this scenario.
