Defensive player of the year my ass. Man that was just a terrible defensive effort by Dwight for his 6th. Either clobber him or get the hell out of the way, it's not that complicated.

Yep we're going back to Orlando, and it's entirely because Orlando lost their heads and completely blew it in the last 5 minutes, they had it all over the Cavs but took half a dozen terrible shots and made some really bad and lazy defensive plays. Oh well.

Looks like Magic will have to close it out at home. Hopefully we won't see 20 free throws again by leflop and another dwight foul out.

Get Pietrus off of LeBron....

Horrible footwork on defense!

Back off of him a bit you can't body up on LeBron.

You use your lateral movement. Horrible on the ball and off the ball defense by Magic not picking up a man on LeBron's drive and he is finding guys who are moving and cutting off the ball and spacing and squaring up and hitting shots.

Pietrus is getting exposed. You cannot guard him with a striaght up stance. Get lower in a mini stance so you can move laterally! Pietrus is too stiff!

This is why you need a Flynn to get in the lane and beat guys off the dribble and find cutters and slashers, finishers and spot up shooters to deliver.

But you need someone 'special' with the ball in their hands when the game is on the line who can manage the ball and manage the clock and the game when it is win or stay home!

Skiles did it in his playing days, and I am confident there are a few guys in this draft who can do it.
My bet is the guy who it is said the Bucks r looking at...

It concerns me when I say this, but MBBOT has a point there. I've noticed how upright Pietrus' stance is on D and his footwork looks just horrible, I'm amazed he's even a decent defender with technique like that.

You realize he shot 13 FTs himself. If he doesn't want to foul out, he should tell his perimeter players to stay in front of James... or move the hell out of the way. FYI, he could have had several offensive fouls called tonight, that slid.
