The arrogance of the Cavaliers has been paid back tenfold. They let the genine out of the bottle and it will be tough to get it back in. Not so much flexing now is there? Still having fun, Bron Bron?

Consequently, I don't think a series with Boston would be as close as this one is. Not from a talent perspective but in terms of motivation and familiarity -- Cleveland would be more motivated against Boston and more familiar with playing the Celtics.

I'm not going to kick the Cavs when they are down but I always knew that Mo Williams was not that good. They keep getting these borderline guys to surround lebron with. Mo williams is not an All-Star and Lebron needs another All-Star...a real all-star.

they have a bunch of "pretty good" players but no other stars. That is their problem. There is nobody that can take over the games besides Lebron. We were lucky to have three guys that could take over in the clutch with all of them fully willing to take the big shots. This is a league of stars IMO and lebron alone probably cant get it done.

For some reason I still wouldn't count out the Cavs.

How about the matchup problems that the Magic cause with Lewis and Hedo....crazy.

Pretty awful, is kind of tender....
I've been playing and watching hoops for a while and I can proudly say that it was the most blatant fake call I've ever been witness.

When they run that advertising campaign, they wanted to mean this????

I've hated Mo Williams ever since opening night, where he tried to touch the O'Brien championship trophy before the presentation.

Agreed. Danny Ferry really dropped the ball when he failed to cash in on Wally World's expiring contract at the trade deadline. I'm guessing he's kicking himself for not pulling the trigger on the rumored deal for Shaq.

One of the biggest lessons for us watching this series and the playoffs in general should be that with a healthy KG, we are still the best team in the NBA.

No need to trade Ray or any of our starters and blow up our team to try and compete with the Lebron Cavs or the Kobe Fakers, or the Dwight Magic, etc. Let's get some rest this offseason, get everyone healthy, and add some depth to the bench for next years run at #18.

Go Magic! Go Nuggets! I would love to see a Dwight vs Carmelo finals!

Well what gets me is the announcers said nothing. its like they got a txt to shut up about it or something.. Instead they focused on the non call for Dwight Howard.. I was like huh?!

The funniest part of the game was when Collins was saying Wally's hurt knee was affecting his lateral quickness. I was like wtf, when did i miss the part about Wally ever having good lateral quickness....

I actually thought it was a foul on Pietrus going by the rules they ususally abide by. Pietrus cut in front him, when players legs get tangled it almost always a foul.

Joselo16 wrote:Quickly how come the assistant coach for the Cavs was drawing up the offensive plays at the end of OT, don't they have the coach of the year on their sideline? Doc should have gotten that award last year and even this year but got penalized for having a great team, while the Cavs bloke get rewarded!!!
How funny was it to see the COACH OF THE YEAR stand and nod his head while John Kuester (former BU coach and Celt asst) draw up the plays. You would think Brown might be able to do this himself.

The best part in all of this is once again putting ESPN and the NBA to shame with their blatant exploitation of the LeBron-Kobe matchup. Not that the Dwight Superman marketing isn't irritating but if I hear another Kobe vs. LeBron discussion...

Turns out The Bron, The Lonte and The Drunas can't handle The Wight and The Shard.

I'd list more names but The Meer is injured and "The Hedo" just doesn't sound right.

Someone in the other thread said Varejao and such getting a ring would be a crime against humanity, but not as much as the Lakers trouncing Orlando in the finals, beneficiaries of the Gasol trade, and now the Garnett injury and our game 6 collapse...DAMN
