Remember when a three years ago the debate for to trade for Iverson? I'm happy Danny couldnt pull that deal off.

C's dodge a bullet then, why put that gun back up to our heads?

I doubt a lot of Boston fans will either. Why should Ray have to take a backseat to Iverson just to appease him? Rivers wouldn't go for the lineup change, he tends to be loyal at times. In this case, he would be right.

I don't like that lineup. Remember Chris Webber's analyst of Iverson? I somewhat agree. Iverson needs to be one of the primary scorers on a team. Scoring isn't what Boston lacks, it's a bench or depth.

“Allen Iverson needs five robots to play with him,” said Detroit native Webber, noting the Sixers’ run to the 2001 NBA Finals happened when Iverson “had five guys who couldn’t score — Aaron McKie, (Dikembe) Mutombo, (Eric) Snow (are) all defensive players.”

Iverson won't play the tough "D" and he won't be happy comming off the bench...

Thus he is as useless as "tits on a boar hog" to the Celtic organization.... :P

Not only that, but he won't play for cheep...with that sort of attitude, my guess is his NBA playing days might be over?.....perhaps he should go to Europe?

no thanks. he's done. He's a ball hog and a poor shooter. he put up big numbers in philly because he shot a lot of shots a la antoine. I want no parts of iverson at this point in his career

Come on now. He's not the same player now, but when he was in Philly, he could get by any 2 players. He still can't be guarded by 1 player, but he's no longer the fastest player in the league.

I want to see AI and starbury coming off the bench together. They can play with each other. We all saw how well starbury deffered this year to his teammates.

Hate AI's game. His style of play raises far more red flags than even Starbury's complete insanity.
