DJ I could take or leave, he was useful at times, and played like crap at other times. I would rather they upgrade his slot, but money may not make it possible. Or just go with Weems backing up JR, as I think JR is ready for 35 minutes a game.
I agree Birdman will be back, although I don't think it will take the MLE like most think it will.
AC will never be a 3rd guy, I just don't see Karl allowing it to go that way. So I personally hope he is gone. There are plenty of other PGs that we could get to be the 2nd and 3rd guys at that slot.
LK is an anomaly, most Denver fans have never really thought he was worth a whole lot, yet you hear rumors about other teams willing to give good talent in return for him. I personally think he stays in the NBA for a 3 year 12+ million dollar deal with someone. I personally hope that he is not with the Nuggets as I would rather they use the money elsewhere.
Petro does have some talent, and he was a decent bench big for the Thunder while they had him. I would not mind him being back on a minimum deal just to see what we have. He could be on the level of an Elson (who is good as a 4th or 5th big occasionally getting the start when injuries require it).
Hunter has to retire for his contract to come off the books, and I don't think he will be doing that. His only value to the team is that he is finally expiring and could be used as a contract in that regard.
I personally have no idea if Kroenke will use the TPE, but if he does I would think that it will be either short term salary or we will have to move long term salary. We have $54 million going to Nene, Kmart, Melo, and Billups next year, with $58+ the following year. You add in JR and those numbers become $59.5 million and $64+ million. I think if we trade KMart for a smaller contract there is a chance they use the TPE, otherwise I think it goes away, as I don't see Kroenke okaying 80-85 million dollar payrolls for the next 2 years at this point.
I don't know if Hart is under contract for next season or not, but i am sure if he is there is a cut clause in there. I would expect the Nuggets to use him in a trade if possible as it don't seem as though they have much use for him.

I know Birdman has a Denver loyalty and that help you guys. And I know I have no connections to Mark Cuban, but as you can see on my sig, I would, even at age 31, pay the full MLE for Birdman. he is one of the best offensive rebounders in the game and exactly what our jumpshooting team needs. Also, guys that can finish alley opps like Anderson is what we need to surround Kidd with.
If money talks, you would have to pay him full MLE. If loyalty talks, maybe not.

I think he has some legit loyalty to Denver, but we'll see.
