Why do you guys think Chris Anderson will leave the Nuggets and go to Boston?

I don't get it ... Very small chance he leaves. Ainge went after him last off-season and he didn't want to come, now the Nuggets are clearly better than they were at the start of the 08/09 season and look poised to go deep again so why leave that to go to an ageing Boston team which failed to get out of the 2nd round.

Per the NY Times, Birdman loves Denver and vice-versa. He's being quoted pleading to be re-signed. He's staying there.

Meanwhile -- assume the Cavs trade for Shaq. What does that mean for our big man rotation?

To me, it would make Gortat an attractive signing, and would make Davis an attractive choice as backup C against both of major conference rivals.

All I was saying is that Andersen is a realistic option in the sense that he's affordable. I never said he'll leave Denver. Denver's still paying for McDyess' salary and have Andersen, Kleiza and Petro as free agents. Steven Hunter is under contract but is an expiring contract. For this reason, they might look to resign him. Again, I never said it was a full gone conclusion that he'll leave Denver and sign with Boston. I never said that at all, actually. Keep in mind, I listed Andersen on my ideal bench and did say, if you go back, that I see him as a wishful thinking choice.

I take it you don't like him. Otherwise, why are you getting annoyed over a suggestion of a player.

McDyess and Matt Barnes would give Boston two physical player who can knock down jumpers. Not sure they can afford both though, but that's who I'd like to see...

As for a few other guys mentioned, Ariza could be available at the MLE. LA has $74 million tied into 8 players and Ariza and Odom are free agents. I can't see Buss going into 2009-10 with a $90 million budget.

The only way Marbury stay imo is if House leaves. There's just not enough pt for Steph.

HISTORY

know your history.

DA threw the MLE at Cory Maggette. HE didn't take it.
DA tried to trade for SHawn MArion--whom I believe would solve a ton of the Celtics problems. EH can play our defense. HE is an upgrade over Posey. HE can play the 3 and 4 spots. He essentially is two players in one as he can play multiple positions. HE allows us to play big and small. We have a history with this guy and Wyc is willing to spend.

I'd also look at Lamar Odom and Trever Arisa--LAkers can't afford both.

Just give me a couple more bigs and I'll be happy. Sheed (if kg can talk some sense into him), pachulia, chris wilcox, brandon bass are some of the names I wouldn't mind seeing on this team if the price is right.

Even if Marion was willing to take the mle I dont see him coming here. I wouldnt be shocked to see him end up on the Cavs.

Surprise, surprise ............

Andersen Doesn't Want To Leave Nuggets

Nuggets forward Chris Andersen has made it clear that he hopes to re-sign with the club.

Andersen, coming off a two-year ban due to drug problems, was given a chance by Denver this season.

"Re-signing me," Andersen said when asked about the team's next step.

He made just $998,398 this year.

"What better place to play than at home?" Andersen said. "I love this city, I love this state. I appreciate everybody in the whole town for backing us and helping us prove others wrong."

Andersen is expected to earn a multiyear year in the neighborhood of the $5.585 mid-level exception.
