MN CHA WAS DAL

Post#1 » by the_bruce » Sun May 31, 2009 4:01 am

So what if Brown <3's Curry enough to do up this trade. He won't get past NYK, and he might not even get there as MN and GSW have some interest in him. Solves WAS financial problem and position of need is filled.

WAS Gives: James + Thomas + 5
WAS gets: Bell + Stack

CHA Gives: Bell + 12
CHA Gets: 5(curry) + James

MN Gives: Miller
MN Gets: Thomas + williams + 12

DAL Gives: Stack + Williams
Dal Gets: Miller

I could see the draft shaking up like this...

Griffin
Thabeet
Harden
Rubio
Curry
Holiday

Why does Washington do that? The #5 + expirings for Bell + Stack?

Stack gets them under the lux.

Bell gives them a defensive 2g to play along side of arenas. Plus he's an expiring contract and reasonably priced.

Not sure why the Wolves would deal one of their key trade assets for this junk.

If they deal Miller, it should be for a player better than Miller or a pick before 6.

I like it. I can't decide which I like better, the pick or the fact that having Thomas would mean there would be less of a chance of seeing a Gomes/Smith frontcourt.

If washington was willing to give up the 5th pick for that package, then the Wolves would definitely be able to work a deal with them straight up. Miller is better than both those guys.

I think we're giving too much - namely Gomes. And I don't really want Craw either. He's relatively productive, but he can't defend.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Agreed. I would like the #7 from GSW and if we had to take on Crawford to get it, I'd consider it. With Crawford, Foye would become redundant.

Any thoughts on Foye, Cardinal, and 18 for Crawford and 7? Crawford becomes the backup combo guard and we go with Harden/Evans and Holiday.
