I'd go with A for sure...Blatche is ok, but gotta think with the #5 and #14 they can get two useful pieces/move them for a good vet

Yep. I'd definitely do A. I'd be surprised if they actually offered it though.

I have posted PKG A several times. If we are Trading Amare, definitley do A. I think this is plausible and good for both teams. Draft a PF (No need for a PG if Nash plays until he is 38..ugh) and SF. Trade Shaq for Chandler and expirings, Nash resignis for 3 yr 30, James expiring frees 6 million, NO expiring frees 8 million and Nash resigning frees 3 million, that is 17 million for 2010. We can replace any defieciency easy, plus we make the playoffs in 2010. Under the cap and competitive.
Nash/Dragic
JRich/LB/Nick
Hill/Clark/Dud
Jamison/Jordan Hill/Lou
Chandler/Lopez

Wizards with package (A) is giving up way too much for Stoudemire.
Nick Young
Antawn Jamison
No.5
Mike James
For salary purposes, Jamison should be packaged, but when he does the advantage goes to Suns by a big margin.
Maybe take away Young, but I actually want him from the Wizards. He has potential still.

I'm sure he has questions about how much the Suns want him around since they tried to trade him last season, it's not like the Suns organization is committed to keeping him around anyway.

Of course this is all predicated on something Amar'e said. How many here have taken anything else Amar'e has said seriously?

i dont remember perfectly but wasn't he the leading man in wanting D'antoni out? which happened, leading man to hire Porter, which also happened. one of the ones that wanted porter out, which also happened. just because he said it doesnt mean he's going to the knicks but i would take what he says pretty seriously cuz of the history of his talking. he's still being stupid about this whole situation IMO.

What's correct is that Amare always said something opportunistic after the fact of: DA gone, Porter in, Porter gone, and Gentry in. Nash was the one who led the riot against Porter to make him fall, assisted by his best friend on the team then Bell who was shipped out before they succeded in their plot.

Amare is dumb to say a lot of stuffs, but the fans are dumber for taking everything he said seriously.

It basically boils down to Jamison + #5 for Amare, and then Young for #14
James and Tucker are just filler/fodder.
I'd like to add Harden to my team but the chance to upgrade to Amare is great enough to pass up the 5th pick. Amare will be more expensive but is ~ 5 years younger and much more athletic/stronger in order to help out on Lebron/D Howard in the playoffs next year. The 14th pick gives us a shot at a young pure PG like Lawson or Flynn to groom behind Gil.
For you guys, I think Jamison would fit well next to shaq, not clogging the post and can be a go to scorer when he is out as well. He is a true vet, always went hard this year despite how awful we were and he comes cheaper than Amare for the next couple seasons as well. Then, Nash and AJ will retire/expire about the same time and you can re-build from there.

I think it's best for both Washington and Phoenix to switch Nick Young with Javaris Crittenton in the trade above. Nick Young is a poor mans Leandro Barbosa if anything. Crittenton would be a good running mate with Barbosa on the second unit because he has the size to cover a two, but the skills of a one.

Well, wiz fans value Young more than Critt so we would happily switch the two if you like.

Stat has given his not so subtle notice.... Is he is leaking air from his inflated ego...? The silence from Kerr-plunk and Co may be one of 'Thanks for the green light... now the public will understand w/o the excessive Marks-is-going-to-surprise-you spin' .
Of all that I have seen, Chicago remains a player in these Amare Sweepstakes.
Call me crazy, but if he is sent packing... I'd like to see Rasheed here on a 1 yr deal to slug it out with our Grandpa Group of Shaq, Nash, and Hill. Something like that would have to happen soon... and please don't ask me how. I'll leave that up to the resident trade wizards.
