depends if that includes keeping the guys we have...

If we keep baby and steph, then the biggest need for me is a 7 footer that can play D and knock down a shot (Sheed)

would still need another back up swing man, but id also look at increasing walkers minutes early in the season

A back up for The Truth. That can be Walker or some other guy, but Truth needs rest.

According to Doc Rivers, less than a week ago,

1. Center
2. Long SF

Note Doc didn't say PF/C or combo wing.

He's looking for a full sized center and a full sized SF.

I'm with Doc, I'd want to stay away from the tweener guys as well. A legit center would be nice off the bench.

I kinda have a feeling Baby is gone. So I would say finding capable backups for Paul and KG are equally important. It be great to have Paul/Ray/Kg averaging 30 - 32 mpg in the regular season to keep them fresh for the postseason but we would need depth on the bench for that to happen.

This would be great but Mcdyess is not a SF. Send Giddens down and keep Bill Walker to play SF. Still hope we can sign someone to back up Paul in case Walker/Giddens isn't ready.

Another SF. We were specifically burned by Hedo and Rashard in the playoffs and we would have been torched by Lebron. Yeah, we're also going to be dealing with Dwight for the next few years, but I have enough faith in Perk and Baby to at least keep him out of the post and there just aren't enough other centers to worry about. Whereas next year we'll probably be worrying about Caron Butler, Michael Beasley, and maybe someone from the Atlanta cluster. We need a long SF that can guard the bigger SFs and the quicker PFs in the league, like Posey was able to do for us.

we need another big. That is why we lost to orlando. If KG goes down we are much morse off than in PP or RA go out due to positional depth.

if you go by position it's center/power forward. If you go by need then I'd say our biggest need is a bona fide scorer off our bench. Doc is always going to preach defense and certainly we could use some improvement in that area but to me our biggest problem in the playoffs was our lack of bench production. Sure Eddie got hot for a game or two but Eddie house can't get his own shot. Nor for that matter can Ray ALlen and KG for all of his talent is not really a one on one player either. When the game gets tight or when the starters are struggling we need a guy who can hit some shots, get to the line etc. I thought Marbury was going to be that guy but he never got there. He could be tremendous for us if he was right but I don't think he has the mindsight to be a bench players. Ben Gordon coming off of our bench would be unreal. Can you imagine him and ray together? As for bigs I like Pachulia and Milsap
