Bobcats accept deal with Miami. We're ecstatic to acquire someone like CJ Miles and getting our pick back is gravy.

Charlotte Sends:

Rasheed Wallace- $5,848,000

Math works obviously.

Miami accepts. With the recent acquisition of Duncan, we had lost some depth. Rasheed will bring us a starting quality talent, without removing too many bench resources.

Trade approved.

Its 2013 Philly 1st (unprotected) not 2013 Memphis 1st.

Bulls Accepts. Just filling out our roster solid veteran center, solid all-around 2/3 and a combo forward with upside.

Yep, it was a 2013 Philly Pick instead of a Memphis Pick. Trade Accepted.

NOH are excited to add both Luol Deng and Mario Chalmers to our squad. We really like how both of them fit next to Brandon Roy, Jerome James gives us a nice expiring, and the future first will come in handy.

Tony Parker is on the block.

Trade approved.

Thus salaries obviously work...

Golden State is really glad to add Oleksiy Pecherov to our young core, we feel that he is going to blossom into a superstar very soon. Unfortunately, we had to take on Michael Beasley to get Pecherov but Oleksiy is well worth it.

Seriously though, we at Golden State really really like Beasley as a prospect and are a bit worried Ellis' injury status. We are not the Lakers, Knicks or Mavericks and cannot afford a ridiculous payroll so this is a way for us to trade Ellis and get back excellent value all while curbing spending.

Golden State accepts.

ORL and DET have a trade to announce.

Jose Calderon/Marcus Thornton for Delonte West/Jamario Moon/Elson.

We lose Moon but we had Battier so we didn't need him. West will be missed but Battier is going to be getting most of the minutes at the 2/3 so we don't mind. Elson is a 3rd string C on my team so no biggy. We welcome Jossssseeee and Thorton to DET.

Orlando accepts

BTW the money works...

4,254,250 + 3,000,000 + 825,497 = 8,079,747 x 1.25 +100G = 10,199,684
8,219,008 + 800,000 = 9,019,008

We like Jose but needed to cut some money for Morrow since he has MLE $ cap hold. We like Delonte's D and 3 pt ability and also welcome Moon/Elson to flesh out the roster.

The Toronto Raptors and the Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed on a deal:

Raptors Trade:
Richard Jefferson $14,200,000

Thunder Trade:
Draft Rights to Austin Daye
2010 Oklahoma City First
Peja Stojakovic $13,392,000

Money obviously works. Raptors agree. We take on Peja's horrible contract and he will literary rot on my bench but his contract does end when some of my big contracts end also. I liked RJ but I needed to move him in order to play Marvin back at SF and while finally be able to find minutes for Thabeet.

The Thunder accept. We don't like losing Daye, but it should be a very late pick with our roster. We are glad to bring Jefferson aboard, we like his fit next to Durant, Bosh, Westbrook, and Chandler.

Orlando and Golden State have reached a trade agreement...
(contingent upon the Orlando/Detroit trade completion/approval)

Earl Watson $6.6mil/Moon $3mil/Fransisco Elson $850g for CJ Watson $1.5mil/Ricky Davis $2.4mil

Trade works due to GSW being plenty under the cap.

We didn't see either Earl or Jamario in our long term plans so we decided to send them to a better home in Cali where they should get more burn. We get a nice prospect at the PG to backup Delonte and a cheap SF in Davis whom we can actually make use of if he keeps his act together. We also welcome the small amount of cap relief.

Orlando accepts

The Warriors accept, this is an addition of talent. Watson will be a decent plugin at starting PG for this season and he expires at the end of it. Moon will be a good backup SF and Elson is Elson.

EDIT: The Warriors cut Fransisco Elson

Minnesota waives the unguaranteed contracts of both Donte Cunningham and Mardy Collins. We really hoped both players would be able to stick around, but we simply have too many players. This gets us down to the roster max

Philadelphia has decided to waive/release Antoine Wright and his 1,800,000 Expiring contract

and also have decided not to sign Jerel McNeal and just keep his draft rights

cutting our roster down to 15.

Denver and Cleveland have agreed to a trade:

Cavaliers trade/Nuggets receive:
Luke Ridnour - $6,500,000
Total: $6,500,000

Nuggets trade/Cavaliers receive:
Mike James - $6,466,600
Desmond Mason - $825,497
Anthony Carter - $825,497
Total: $6,466,600 (minimum salary player's salary do not count in trade) Math works

Denver feels like trading Ridnour in the first place was a mistake. Since he was deep on Cleveland's depth chart we decided to group together our assets and grab him. Billups needs to have less minutes if he is going to be able to play at a high level for the rest of his contract, and since Ridnour is a starting quality guard it will really help our team. Losing a key part of our run last year (Anthony Carter) hurts, but I think that Luke is the missing link to our team and that this trade helps both sides immensely.

EDIT--crunched the numbers.

Sacramento is in the midst of rebuilding and therefore will need to keep morales as high as possible. Sacramento would like to sign Scott Pollard to a 1 year minimum deal.

We feel that Pollard + Scalabrine will sell enough tickets based off of shear comedic value.
