Desmond Mason - $825,497
Anthony Carter - $825,497
Total: $6,466,600 (minimum salary player's salary do not count in trade) Math works

Denver feels like trading Ridnour in the first place was a mistake. Since he was deep on Cleveland's depth chart we decided to group together our assets and grab him. Billups needs to have less minutes if he is going to be able to play at a high level for the rest of his contract, and since Ridnour is a starting quality guard it will really help our team. Losing a key part of our run last year (Anthony Carter) hurts, but I think that Luke is the missing link to our team and that this trade helps both sides immensely.

EDIT--crunched the numbers.

Cleveland accepts. Anthony Carter provides a quality upgrade at the backup point position. and the other two provide some needed depth.

The Indiana Pacers and Philadelphia 76ers have agreed upon a trade.

Indiana sends Chris Kaman ($10,400,000), James Jones ($4,330,000), Shawnee Williams ($2,416,067) and the rights to Jeff Pendergraph for Shaquille O'neal ($21,000,000).

All Pacers salaries added X 1.25 = $21,432,583, which is greater than Shaquille's salary.

Indiana accepts, we never felt Kaman was the permanent solution at the C position next to Amar'e, and while we're not sold on Shaq's fit either, he provides the same things but obviously slightly better coming off the season he had. The main incentive is O'neals deal, we save a lot of money in the future dumping Jones, and shedding Kaman's salary.

Accepted, we get WAY younger, and dont risk losing a starting caliber center after this year. We now have to waive/release Melvin Ely's minimum deal, and Chris Quinn's Exp deal, to make this deal work.

Jose Calderon/Marcus Thornton for Delonte West/Jamario Moon/Elson.

We lose Moon but we had Battier so we didn't need him. West will be missed but Battier is going to be getting most of the minutes at the 2/3 so we don't mind. Elson is a 3rd string C on my team so no biggy. We welcome Jossssseeee and Thorton to DET.

Orlando accepts

BTW the money works...

4,254,250 + 3,000,000 + 825,497 = 8,079,747 x 1.25 +100G = 10,199,684
8,219,008 + 800,000 = 9,019,008

We like Jose but needed to cut some money for Morrow since he has MLE $ cap hold. We like Delonte's D and 3 pt ability and also welcome Moon/Elson to flesh out the roster.

Trade approved

Money obviously works. Raptors agree. We take on Peja's horrible contract and he will literary rot on my bench but his contract does end when some of my big contracts end also. I liked RJ but I needed to move him in order to play Marvin back at SF and while finally be able to find minutes for Thabeet.

(contingent upon the Orlando/Detroit trade completion/approval)

Earl Watson $6.6mil/Moon $3mil/Fransisco Elson $850g for CJ Watson $1.5mil/Ricky Davis $2.4mil

Trade works due to GSW being plenty under the cap.

We didn't see either Earl or Jamario in our long term plans so we decided to send them to a better home in Cali where they should get more burn. We get a nice prospect at the PG to backup Delonte and a cheap SF in Davis whom we can actually make use of if he keeps his act together. We also welcome the small amount of cap relief.

Orlando accepts

Sacramento picks up Donte Cunningham

Roster Size = 13

I posted in one of the threads or I sent out an e-mail (or maybe both)

But any waived player enters the free agent pool, and if you want to sign a player then send me an e-mail that you would like to sign that player. This way multiple players don't get signed (like 6 or 7 pages apart)

We feel that Pollard + Scalabrine will sell enough tickets based off of shear comedic value.

For all free agents, offers must be submitted thus people will know who is available. So send in an offer and then Pollard will likely sign for the minimum.

Trade invalid

Roster limits are now in affect and this gives Philadelphia way too many guys.

Is his roster not updated correctly, it has exactly 15 players updated with this trade?

Sorry my mistake, I quickly glanced and missed Philadelphia releasing a couple of guys. Trade approved.

The Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs have a trade to announce:

San Antonio sends:

PG/SG Jason Terry 9.1M

total: 9.1M

Golden State sends:

SF Jamario Moon 3M
SG Marco Belinelli 1.6M
SF Dorell Wright 2.9M
2010 protected Utah 1st

total: 7.5M

works due to GS's cap space.

GS accepts and is glad to add a heady veteran to the team and to clear the glut in the SG/SF positions

Accepted.

San Antonio is continuing its rebuilding efforts. Jason Terry is a great player but we get two young promising players, a 1st round pick, save 1.6 million this season and get another 4.5 million next season in pure capspace.
