Best Bargain Players Available in Trade or Free Agency

Post#1 » by Pula_86 » Mon Jun 1, 2009 2:59 am

The free agents I think will be pretty affordable are Von Wafer, Shannon Brown,Sean May, Raymond Felton, Joe Smith, Channing Frye, and Dahntay Jones. The high value players available in trade are probably Rafer Alston with Jameer Nelson back next year, Renaldo Balkman in Denver as a bench player, Boris Diaw in Charlotte, Richard Hamilton with the Pistons looking to rebuild, Chris Kaman with Blake Griffin coming in, and Tyson Chandler with New Orleans looking to slash payroll.

Only 4s and 5s should interest the Cavs if they want to beat Orlando in the future.

Rasheed wallace / Mcdyess will hold you over until 2010. Oh yeah this tandem went 3-0 against Orlando

How do you get these players with no capspace? A sign and trade has to be at least 3 years and there's nothing on Cleveland's roster that would get Detroit to take on salary (they need that capspace for Boozer).

There is noway to get Rasheed or Mcdyess. How about Elton Brand?
