I feel you dude.

Odom is really trippin. I really hope that piece was an exaggeration. If he eats sugar all day and all nite, I'm sorry but, that is a reflection of your dedication and discipline. Maybe he only started eating like this after the tragedy in his life ... who knows, but it would be pretty hard for me to pay Odom more than seven million a year for his services after seeing this and seeing his game over the last five years.

It's NOT GOOD for a player who NEEDS to be at his PHYSICAL and MENTAL BEST to be living a life that is physically and mentally UNHEALTHY.

It'd be healthier to smoke herb.

I agree. People only see him as inconsistent because they demand more than what he is (as a scorer), but he is a pretty consistent player IMO, and especially this year.

Oh man, That's serious. He should be worrying about his 60's life in the future.

I think Lamar's fairly consistent considering he comes off the bench...but he averaged 18 points against the Jazz then 8 points against the Rockets (which went 7 games).

I think that constitutes inconsistency, although he did suffer a back injury.

Also, I think there's always been an inconsistency in Odom's game come late in games, which is relevant to the discussion of sugar crashes. There's been rare games during which Odom made an impact in the fourth quarter, but I can recall way more 4th quarters when Odom misses free throws, drives out of control or predictably, puts up ill-advised threes...

But one thing that has been very consistent is Odom's rebounding. He's always been a reliable rebounder, which is pretty much the only consistency in his game as a Laker.

i actually can't believe they're allowing him to eat so much candy and junk food. The doc is saying it is most likely causing his ups and downs in play.

I GOT A GREAT IDEA!!!
Take his candy away and blame it on the magics!!!!

It's not like the team can control what he eats.

Yes. Its one thing to eat bad and another thing to get out of shape. LO's physique is lanky and he rarely looks out of shape and looking at his activity levels he must have a high metabolism too so as long as he stays in shape there's nothing the nutritionists can do about it.
