Well...that huge run we had in the 5th along with Melky's heroics certainly made me forget about Wang's mishaps. I sure as hell better not see him start anytime soon though.

LOL... yea, our offense bailed him out again... he was throwing the ball hard, just bad location.... melky is on a tear.. I tell you, competition for your job brings out the best in you I guess....

im confused

i dont understand how fatigue can be attributed to wangs suckiness today?

cuz isnt fatigue good for sinkerballers as it affects their arm slot and in turn the ball is kept down?

Texas is a good offensive club, I wouldn't discount wang just yet.

I'm not gonna pretend Wang had a good outing, but he was keeping the ball low for the most part and was the victim of a few groundballs that went down the line and into gaps. The legit mistake pitches were relatively few--at least compared to his early season starts--they just happened to hurt a lot. I think he's a lot closer to OK than he was in April, but it's still hard to say where he's actually at. Wang had his share of starts like this in his 06-07 form, after all.
