Tough loss, so close. Rios had a bad day, but Lind had an amazing game so I guess it balanced out. Maybe Lind should be at clean-up with Vernon following?

Yep, he should be. Wells has always been more of a #5 hitter with his lack of patience, and Lind would break up the procession of righties a tad. Might also be an idea to swap Hill and Rios, as well, or drop Rios to 6th and bump Overbay up to 2nd (I'm still beating that drum).

**** your asterisk.

Rios was taking big, ugly, looping swings at every breaking ball placed within three feet of the plate. 'Twas not pretty.

**** your asterisk.

What the hell Jays?... 3 games back of both Boston and NY..smh.
Losing 12 of 15 hurts. At this point last year, we we're 4.5 back and faced an uphill battle for the rest of the season. This year, as good as a start we got off too, plus pretty much a healthy line-up, we're only 1.5 games better than last year. We need a string of 6-8 wins to get back on track, and hopefully still be within a couple of games by July.

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

ESPN's sportscenter highlight package of the game was "a tale of two teammates" and showed every Rios strikeout followed by every Lind hit.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Hahaha forgot about that, spyke. And of course, only Lyle forgets that there is a man on third heading home.
Anyway, I think the thing I admire most about Brian Tallet is his accountability following a loss. That and his tacky array of post-game fedoras and bandanas and stuff.
