Bosh: 21.5 points, 9.5 rebounds with a TS% of .569
Amar'e: 21.0 points, 7.9 rebounds with a TS% of .617
Villanueva: 21.7 points, 8.9 rebounds with a TS% of .529
I think the difference is TS% is big, but here's something even more interesting.
Inside shooting:
Bosh: Attempts - 36%, eFG%: .591
Amar'e: Attempts - 45%, eFG%: .658
Villanueva: Attempts - 34%, eFG%: .534
While there's significant differences in eFG%, I caught me off guard how CV31 and CB4 both spend about the same amount of time in the post. I wonder, if you bring in a quality big man coach to work with Villanueva, if he could really become a high quality big man. I mean, especially if we're only paying $6-7 million a year.

dont want a jump shooting big who thinks hes a star. dont want much scoring at all from a big tbh. just some easy points in the first half, good movement and finishing open dunks off lebron feeds.

The difference is that Bosh is looking to leave Toronto. He's hinted that unless their owner offers him a significant more money, he walks next season. Amare likes Phoenix and Charlie Villanueva will probably stay with the Bucks when they offer him about 10 mil a season.

The Bucks don't have the money to sign Charlie. They are trying to save money, a big reason we got Mo Williams for so cheap.

Mo Williams and Charlie Villanueva led the Bucks to consecutive 20-something win seasons. Lebron is great, but not great enough to overcome those two together.
1 - Lebron cannot defend his man along with the two guys running past Mo & CV at will.
2 - Lebron would have to fight to get his shots.
3 - There would never be anyone inside to rebound with Mo and CV and Lebron all camped on the perimeter.
CV is not a power forward. He is a SF on offense and a MIA on defense. He can play effectively as a sixth man in a free wheeling offense. CV will probably want starter money. Neither the Bucks nor the Cavs have a need for a starter who does not have a position.
If you thought that the Cavs did not match up well with Rashard Lewis and Turkoglu, imagine their nightmare with Villanueva in the game.
